Primrose powered grass campsite
Liked Big grassy area in the middle meant that the kids could run around safely, and be easily seen.
There were not many other people there when we were so it was lovely and quiet.
Clean loos.
Camping field was clean.
BBQs allowed.
Easy checking in with barrier code.
Near Moors Valley Country Park.
Disliked Shower block could do with an upgrade but was functional.
At a busy time, I think two loos would seem quite a small amount.
Our pitches were right in front of a small fenced area where the chemical toilets were emptied - not smelly and there was drinking water tap there but a bit unsightly.
We found the booking process very impersonal - online, I could not get through by phone. We wanted three pitches but needed to make three separate booking as we were coming at different times, so three payments and emails seemed confusing.

Excellent peaceful site with flat and large pitches. Welcoming.
Primrose powered grass campsite
Liked Peaceful surroundings, location and a flat pitch. We were welcomed by a very knowledgeable member of staff, although he was new to the role, he did an excellent job explaining where everything was and we managed to find a pitch in the shade.
Toilets were functional and clean. Showers were a bit tired but again functional. Tip: If using the showers let the water run, as it takes a while to warm up. 😀
Disliked Nothing. I can imagine the showers would be well used if both fields were full but seemed to manage with the amount of people staying while we were there.
Also if people cleared up after themselves the toilets would stay clean. While we were there someone left the toilet block door open, and light on. People should try and keep the site clean.

Primrose powered grass campsite
Liked Excellent location for exploring the New Forest, lovely quiet site and a good dog walk with plenty of dog waste bins. Sue and Simon welcomed me and showed me what was where and they were most helpful. Pitches are almost perfectly level which made setting up very easy.
Disliked Showers need a revamp.
