What customers say
Hook Farm gets rave reviews for its lovely setting, cleanliness, and helpful staff. Guests praise the spotless facilities, including hot showers. The easy riverside walk to Lyme Regis is a big plus. Pitches are usually well-spaced. A few noted shower/Wi-Fi costs and occasional pitch firmness or close neighbors.

Powered grass campervan campsite (medium, maximum 6 metres)
Liked Lovely well kept site with friendly and helpful staff, good location
Disliked Having to pay 20p for shower on a timer, the cost of staying in your own campervan should cover this, it’s the only site that we have stayed on where you have to pay. It’s the principle not the cost.
However it’s a lovely site 👍

Liked Great site, clean and spacious facilities, nice little shop, 20p for showers is a first, but you get 4 mins which is longer than you think but just don’t forget cash.
Disliked All great apart from it’s the most I’ve paid for one night.

Powered grass campervan campsite (medium, maximum 6 metres)
Liked The pitch we had was great - high up with lovely views. Quiet and with good facilities. Lovey walk to Lyme Regis.
Disliked ...our friends on the other hand were initially put on a terrible pitch then moved to another that was a little better but it was at the bottom where it was shady, cold, dank and damp as opposed to the light airy, warmer pitch at the top of the hill where we were. Pitch is everything with this site! Also, thought a tad expensive @£44 a night - jeez what's happening to camping in this county - far too expensive!

From the manager: Thank you for your review, some guests prefer shade especially with the recent hot weather. Our prices are comparable to other sites on The Jurassic coast and we did not put up our prices this year.

Primitive grass tent campsite (large)
Liked We liked this site for its unique pitch locations, each one a little different because the site is divided up by vegetation and by landscape. The pitches are level, but the site itself is on a bit of a slope. Good shower and toilet facilities. Good shop providing rolls etc for the morning if you need them. (Shop opens at 9). Wifi not so good on lower pitches; we had to walk up the slope to get good reception.

From the manager: We are really pleased that you liked the layout of our park and the terraced pitches. We hope you can visit us again soon.
