FHU cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked Check in swift, we're able to accommodate our request, huge pitch with its own picnic bench, huge park, lovely river for the kids to play in, great walk through the woods. Everyone very friendly. Toilets and showers were warm and spotless. Would love to come back.
Disliked The shop didnt stock any fridge food except milk (no butter, bacon, sossigs, cheese). No big issue as sainsburys 5 min away x

Nice campsite overall
Primitive grass campsite (large)
Liked Whole site was clean, special mention to the ladies cleaning the toilets as it was always spotless and they were friendly, plenty of space to choose from, fairly quiet site. If youre camping here I highly recommend heading to south molton and going to Rachael's for cake, the welcome fryer for chippy, and Sainsbury's for anything else!
Disliked Bar was quite expensive and took a long time to get served even when we were the only customers, kids play area is too far away

Worth the drive from the Midlands
FHU grass campsite (jumbo)
Liked Lovely site.
Helpful telephone and reception/bar staff.
Could hear nearby traffic but it certainly did not disturb us during our stay.
Well set up pitch with own water, electric and tv aerial.
Excellent fishing opportunities.
Have booked to go back again in September.

FHU grass campsite (jumbo)
Liked Site very clean & tidy
We had meals in restaurant and we were not disappointed, we even tried the carvery and it was so tasty & all meats nicely cooked our compliments to the chefs
Debbie behind the bar was amazing she helped my husband who is blind , she put on his plate what he wanted & then took the meal back to our table, Debbie is an asset to the company
Disliked The only thing I didn’t like we took ages finding our pitch, we were hoping to be escorted to the pitch
