I recently stayed at this campsite…
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked I recently stayed at this campsite and it was a fantastic experience. The location is beautiful, surrounded by nature, and offers a peaceful atmosphere that’s perfect for relaxing. The pitches were spacious and well-maintained, with plenty of room for a tent or caravan.
The facilities were clean – the showers had hot water all day, and the toilets were always tidy.
You definitely have to visit the pond with the wooden footbridge, where you’ll find a little monkey and a fox. It’s such a charming place.
Rick, the owner, is such a positive person. We had endless laughs with him
Overall, this campsite is great for families, couples, or solo travelers who want a balance of comfort and a genuine outdoor experience. I would definitely recommend

Quiet and friendly, a good base to explore from.
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Lovely rural spot off the beaten track between okehampton and holsworthy. A small camping area on a rolling field. Very good facilities for the price and well-maintained. About an hour's drive from popular destinations (along country lanes).very welcoming owner and nothing too much trouble. A quiet site away from tourist hotspots but within reach. We would stay again and visit the same places again.

A very peaceful site, level pitches, and extremely clean.
Powered grass and gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked This is a beautifully clean, well kept site! The owner (Rick)was very friendly, and was available for any problems at all times. The toilets and showers were exceptionally clean, and remained so throughout the day. Very peaceful, away from it all site, but you can walk to nearby hamlets, and a beautiful church which was open to visit. Very good value for money.
Disliked nothing to dislike!
