What customers say
Peaceful, clean, well-kept site with beautiful country/sea views. Secluded, quiet, ideal for exploring. Basic facilities: portaloo, tap. Paid hot shower available. Great for a simple stopover/wild camping, though some noted lack of shelter. Welcoming, helpful hosts.

Disliked While it does make it accessible to attend at all times maybe a last arrival time could be put in place as at 22.30 people trying too errect tents with headlights shining

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Views were great, looking around was amazing.. would happily wake up to that view again. Happy to support a young business as it's only their second year.
Disliked The bins were full, shower unit had a broken floor tile plus you had to pay £1 to use them & porta loo was very smelly. Not an easy location to find on satnav. Need more signs up from main road.

Disliked Portaloo toilet hadn’t been emptied recently and was very unpleasant

No frills, budget friendly, basic campsite, with countryside views
Power optional grass tent or RV campsite
Liked Our first experience together of ‘wild’ camping. Well not truly wild, as there is a porta-loo, washing-up area, drinking water and even a shower! Oh and there’s a couple of electric hook-ups! A no frills campsite, that ‘does what it says on the tin’ - for those who want space and tranquility, away from the rat race!
If you enjoy a peaceful setting, with unspoilt views, in the Cornish countryside this is the place for you. However, if you are looking for modern facilities, with entertainment and an on-site shop and the price tag that comes with it look elsewhere!
For us, this camp site was perfect, location, views and the facilities - we thought there was only a unisex toilet, so to find there was a unisex shower and washing-up area (also unisex 😉) was a ‘billy bonus’!
Liberty, the young lady whose enterprise this is, couldn’t be more helpful, or pleasant, nothing was too much trouble for her! Liberty and her family were very welcoming, which added to the relaxing atmosphere of the campsite.
Disliked Not so much a dislike, but more a small inconvenience - there wasn’t any hot water in the washing- up area, but we just boiled up some water to do the washing up!

Exactly as described green field with views were ever you park
Primitive grass campervan campsite
Liked Quiet peaceful site great views over the hills and out to the sea great sunset views clean portaloo and now the option of hot shower only £1 for 10 min ( coins only) great if you only have small camper or tent or children that like to spend days in the sea etc mostly flat area available if you look but if like me always carry levelling ramps got away with only using one on the rear so bonus owners are plesent and welcoming if you require anything only a phone call away happy to help this is our second year running and definitely be back next year ideal stay for visiting surroundings area 10/10

Primitive grass campervan campsite
Liked Price only.Only had to pay deposit
Disliked Didn't stay took ages to find and when we did just not up to scratch. Not much of a field more piece of waste land .Not for us might be ok as a stop over if desperate.Owner did apologize for not seeing us and requested balance of money the next day . Explained we didn't stay.

From the manager: -Review based on not staying at our site
-Our contact details such as phone number and email address have been provided, however no contact was attempted
-Pitch up provides clear directions to find the site
-The site was described as ‘Wasteland’ this is inaccurate, offensive and off putting for future bookings
-Factually incorrect we have a large green field that has 360 degree views of the sea and surrounding valley
-Doesn’t reflect the previous 10/10 reviews
Lovely views but no shelter from elements
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Lovely far reaching views.
Flat pitch
Disliked I was bikepacking so had a tiny tent and minimum equipment.
There was no shelter from the elements as the site is a long thin field right on the top of the hill. The facilities, a tap and portaloo were right at one end of the field near the gate and a road junction so I felt safer camped at the opposite end of the field.
I’m sure that it’s lovely for campers with more equipment but I wouldn’t recommend it for back/bike packing especially in the inclement weather that I experienced.
