Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Everything! Peaceful, beautiful views, lovely folks managing it - we had a great time. Basic but clean and well maintained composting toilet: Felt like a world away from the every day.
Location wise it’s a lovely cross country walk to several great pubs/places to eat and close to the wonderful Saffron Walden/Audley End. Had a fabulous weekend.
Disliked Nothing - all info clear on the site (as in minimal services) so was fully aware of what was/wasn’t available.

Liked Host was lovely
Very quiet
Beautiful area
Nice pub within walking distance
Disliked We were the only ones in the field and we had to keep our puppy on the lead at all times.
I understand it's a rule but I feel like a well behaved puppy in a corner of an empty field should be ok, but the host did cycle over to my area and insist he be on a lead, which of course we abided to.
