Fantastic location near Wast Water & Scafell Pike. Hosts Nicky & Jason are super friendly. Immaculate facilities. Comfortable bell tents. Minor fly/bog issues noted, but guests loved it and want to return.

Super friendly owners who made us feel very welcome and we're willing to help out with everything including a stunning fire pit and logs available for the entire stay.
The site was well cared for and the facilities were immaculate. The boiling hot shower was a welcome distraction after a long hike.
It is in a brilliant location with many trails leading away and a friendly pub with a beer garden. We will be staying again thank you so much!!

Great value for money and a lovely location
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked The wonderfully welcoming hosts, that the site was well located (pub a short stroll away, nice café and deli on the way to the lake), and that the showers, toilets and kitchen surpassed my expectations for the price. Also liked that I could have my car at my pitch as I was in a one man tent!
