Lovely quiet site very dog friendly
FHU grass and gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked Very quiet small site, location is perfect for walking into Seahouses and then on to Bamburgh or Beadnell following the coastal path. No toilet or shower facilities but it clearly states that when booking. The dog paddock is an absolute bonus a large safe space to let your dog off the lead.
Disliked One small gripe, we received an email with our pitch allocation and on arrival the same allocation was on the board at the entrance, although we’d stated we’d be using an awning as the weather was good we decided not to bother. About 4 hours after we arrived while we were having tea in Seahouses we received a phone call saying we had in fact been allocated the wrong pitch and could we move to another. It wasn’t much of an issue but if we had in fact put our awning up the answer would have been a firm NO!

FHU grass and gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked Lovely site, owmner making lot of good improvements.
Disliked We were on pitch 5 probably the smallest on the site, with an 8m caravan and awning not a great deal of space remaining.
There were motorhomes without any awning on bigger pitches.
Might be worth considering when alloting pitches.

FHU grass and gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked Small and well laid out site perfect for those wanting to be near the coast but not in a more bustling location. Overlooking fields and with the beach just 1.5miles away, it was a tranquil location. An easy walk to Seahouses and well located to drive to neighbouring places. A chilled stay.
