What customers say
This campsite offers gorgeous, tranquil views & a warm atmosphere. Guests love the spacious field for easy pitching & clean facilities, though they're basic w/ occasional hot water issues. Great location for Ingleton Falls & Malham Cove. Hosts are super helpful. Minor notes: better signage & waste disposal needed.

Really enjoyed our stay at Brayshaw View
Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked Location. Views. Peace. The log store with eggs and marshmallows.
If you’re looking for a back to basics campsite but want the luxury of proper flushing toilets and hot running water then this is the place!
Stayed for 3 nights with my children. It was their first camping experience! They really enjoyed feeling as though they were in the middle of nowhere.
Many reviews have commented on the showers, we had no problems with these whilst we were there. Facilities were clean, there was hot water (just takes a minute to warm up).
Not too long of a drive into skipton town centre, Settle or Clitheroe. Around 15min drive from the lovely walks at Gisburn forest.
Be prepared for wind! It warns of this in the description but definitely take note!
Disliked Long grass made it a little tricky to pitch up. Had also been raining the previous day.

Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked Relatively small, secluded campsite, surrounded by a wonderful landscape.
Basic toilet and showers and sinks (what more do you need) and a supply of fire pits, wood and marshmallows.
If the sky is clear you'll get a beautiful night-time view.
Disliked Absolutely nothing.
It's basic - that's why we go camping.

Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked Remote location, excellent views, campsite very quiet. Toilet and showers clean and hygienic! Loved the mirror to clean teeth looking out at countryside!
Great discount for solo campers on their website
Disliked No one who owned the campsite came to meet us but this wasn't necessarily a problem! Poorly signposted. Google maps sends you wrong way, which they must have anticipated as the signs start at the wrong turning but they are tiny and not clear which way they are pointing

Can’t wait for next year.
Bell tent
Liked Loved the scenery and seclusion, great hosts.
Disliked The temperamental hot water, but being in the middle of a field in the middle of nowhere I would expect nothing less.

A perfect location with simple but more than adequate facilities
Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked Location - amazing views, quiet, plenty of space in field. Gentle sloping field.
Facilities - perfectly adequate toilets and showers; washing up sinks are outside. This is not ***** but if you've decided to camp in this location they are more than enough!
Fire pits, wood, kindling, marshmallows, fresh eggs (from the farm) all available to buy using QR code
Recycling (but not cardboard)
Owner on call if there's a problem
Disliked Less of a dislike more of a practical warning - as the field is uncut during the season, the grass can be wet. So wellies very useful! We didn't have any, so spent a couple of days with wet shoes!

Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked Fantastic views, lots of space, simple but clean facilities. Loved being able to pitch where ever we liked and there was lots of space between us and other campers.
We really enjoyed our stay at Brayshaw camping, the views are incredible!
Toilets and showers were immaculately clean. Facilities are simple but clean and efficient.
The little log shop was super handy stocking logs/fire starting kits, marshmallows/eggs and bbq coals. You pay can pay through QR barcodes and it’s super easy to do.
This site is open to elements and some tents we’re struggling with some of the wind this weekend, recommend good tent pegs !
Disliked Nothing

I would not visit this place again. Expensive for what you get.
Bell tent
Liked The location and the nature. Logs and egg to buy locally was very handy. The bell tent was good
Disliked The dubbed was small for the double bed, the mattress was cheap and the spring was hurting us. There were not hot water for the shower at any time. The owner said the problem was people doing the dishes with hot water. It was cold...what do you expect?
If the system is not working...make it suitable for the amount of people visiting the camping. Not luxury bell tent at all.

Liked Young boy who helped my daughter with her tent even though he didn't know which county he lived in. The site was just right for us

From the manager: Thankyou for taking the time to leave us a lovely review. Glad you enjoyed your stay. In Connor's defence we are actually situated on the Lancashire/Yorkshire Border, and although geography isn't his strong point, at least tent erecting is (he's only 7). We hope to see you again in the future.
Great views, basic facilities
Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked The views are great, the field is large so there are no restrictions on tent size. You can pitch anywhere you like.
Disliked The shower and toilet facilities are very basic. I ended up taking a cold shower 🥶
