Liked: I'm so pleased we found this site on our journey from the Dales to the east coast, nestled in the footings of the Cleveland Way. Spectacular setting. It was good that we could share a bigger pitch with our travel companions. Excellent facilities, especially the shower cabinets within the cubicles. Dog walking meadow was lovely too.
We were encouraged by the manager to drive up the hill road to Lord Stones Country Park with breathtaking views, a stone circle and excellent cafe. From up there you can see the site and appreciate its setting in beautiful countryside.
Dinner at the Black Swan recommended. I also had a lovely chat with the owner's son and we wish him good luck with the Britains Got Talent auditions 🤞🤞

Dog walking field on site
Disliked: Don't forget the gate access code as you'll need it to exit as well. I had to wait for someone else leaving as I couldn't get out! Totally my fault as I hadn't realised but something to be mindful of!
WiFi isn't great

We stayed at Southview Farm with our caravan and had a fantastic experience. On arrival, Dave was incredibly helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. The site offers beautiful views and a peaceful, quiet atmosphere—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The bathrooms were clean and well-maintained, which made our stay even more comfortable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a calm and friendly place to stay with great facilities.
