What customers say
This tranquil, eco-friendly site has roomy, private spots in a wildflower meadow. Guests rave about spotless facilities, friendly owners, and a natural, no-frills vibe. Cold showers are basic, but the ethos and space for kids to play are appreciated. Great for exploring the coast and Broads. Highly recommended, relaxing getaway.

Powered grass campsite (woodland)
Liked The pitches are extremely spacious and the site, even when fully booked, doesn't feel crowded at all. Loved the "no frills" and eco approach to every aspect of camping. We had a fire every night, as they have fire pits on every pitch and they sell everything else you need, including marshmallows, on site. We were lucky to catch a clear night and stare at the stars, as there is no light pollution. Kids can run free, easily seen/supervised on the meadow in the middle of the campsite, and there are loads of games for them to engage with, including an awesome chess set near reception. Can I also say that this was the easiest soil to put the pegs in? No rocks:)

Powered grass campsite (woodland)
Liked Magpie meadow is a beautiful site, well kept and well organised. Toilets very clean and lots of loo roll. Our pitch was big, with a mix of grass and woodland, making it feel very private. A lovely welcome on arrival and lots of good information given. Lovely touches such as a games left out for children and a little hut where you can borrow things like cast iron pans. They seem to have thought of everything.
Disliked The only thing that would have made this place better is if there had been a pub nearby or a place of interest/ river to walk to/ around. There is a Waitrose nearby though.

This was an absolutely fantastic site and the staff are lovely!
Meadow primitive grass campsite
Liked We absolutely loved the location, facilities, pitches, and how welcoming everybody was! It was lovely to see a variety of setups being used across the site with the option of electric or non electric pitches. There was definitely a family friendly atmosphere where children could just be themselves and enjoy the outdoors. The fire pits really added to the relaxing feel within the site. We cannot wait to visit again next season!
Disliked The only thing we weren’t keen on was the waste water disposal point. It’s raised off the ground making it difficult to lift the caravan’s waste water up to empty it given the size of it, however considering it’s a low impact/nearly wild site I cannot fault it the creative ways they have managed to add this in.

A well kept clean, tidy and friendly campsite with plenty of space.
Meadow primitive grass campsite
Liked Welcoming owners who kindly kept our freezer packs frozen daily for us. Spacious pitch with longer grass between to give a little bit of privacy. Clean toilets very close by. My son enjoyed the pump showers finding them refreshing especially after a hot day on the beach! Recycling facilities. We had a really enjoyable holiday and would definitely return in future.
Disliked Noise of working vehicles a bit of a distance away but this was only for short periods so not really too much of an issue. Other than that there was nothing to dislike.
