On river enabling to arrive/depart by canoe
Basic site with basic amenities
Disliked Noisy as next to busy road
Many Pitches appeared to be too close to each other and electric leads to units trailing across pathways

Excellent site although the facilities could do with a refresh.

Liked We love the riverside pitch and the fact that the site is only an hour away from home. We enjoyed a very relaxing long weekend. A very friendly family of swans obviously take advantage of the moored narrow boats and appear to be well fed!! Despite being very busy the site was very quiet. There are quite a lot of seasonal pitches and people were very friendly.
Disliked Other reviewers have noted the road noise. Yes you can hear some traffic at times but we did not find this to be too obtrusive.

Lovely site, friendly staff but sadly too noisy.
Power optional grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Lovely little site by the river
Disliked The reviews I read before booking this site said peaceful with a bit of road noise. In reality the road is noisy, there are jets from nearby airbase and obviously a bikers road in the evening, so peaceful it is not.

Idyllic.

Liked Fantastic pitch by the river, the weather was amazing. We were visited multiple times each day by the adult swans and their 7 cygnets which was lovey.
Lovely clean showers and toilets, as well as pot washing facilities and chemical toilet disposal. WiFi was bang on and
owners were super friendly too.
Disliked Having to leave!
