Lovely campsite, staff friendly but toilet cleanliness a big let down
Church Field powered grass campsite
Liked The views , location, good walking
Disliked Toilets could so with a proper good scrub the bowls are clean but the rest filthy.
Said the same thing last year only ever see the bloke mopping and wiping down no products on show. Do management actually check the facilities , really does let the place down.
Camp often and have to say worse for lack of cleanliness.
Might be an idea to buy some more cleaning product’s especially bleach and give it all a good scrub down and bring up to a better standard.

Lovely size and friendly staff. Toilets and showers need attention
Church Field powered grass campsite
Liked We were very lucky with our pitch as we had a corner pitch. We were close to the play park, toilets and seafront. The pitches are a really nice size and it was so nice being a 10 minute walk away from the beach. It was so handy having a launderette and washing up station on site.
Disliked The toilets/showers were dirty

Hay Field primitive grass tent campsite (small)
Liked Amazing position above the sea, right on the coast path. Good facilities including toilets and showers. The Picknick food truck was also very handy! We didn’t have any issues with noise - it was a lovely night’s camping.

Great site with great views. A few improvements would make it better.
Church Field powered grass campsite
Liked The sea view and the location of the site.
Disliked The disorganisation of the pitches and the small number of showers and toilets.
It wasn’t very clear on exactly what position we had to pitch our caravan, meaning other people had their units very close to others which made the place feel more crowded than it was (but that’s probably my OCD).
Due to the fact we visited in peak season the facilities were never as clean as I would have liked. Three showers and three toilets (for men) probably isn’t enough, especially with all the tents on site; the numbers of people using the facilities made it difficult for staff to keep them clean.
