An aerial view of the holiday park

  • Peaceful clifftop holiday park on the North Norfolk coastline
  • Direct access to Norfolk Coast Path; Sheringham five minutes’ drive
  • Dog-friendly grass pitches; half an hour’s walk to the local pubs
With a spectacular location on the North Norfolk coast between Sheringham and Cromer, Beeston Regis Holiday Park is rightly nicknamed nicknamed ‘The King of the Clifftop View’. Set in 62 acres, the site’s two spacious touring and camping fields are indeed on the clifftop – and the majority have sea views. With ample space for parking, the level grass pitches in Church Field all have electric hook-ups, while Hay Field is designated a non-electric, tents-only meadow with the chance to select the pitch of your choice (subject to availability). Both fields are dog-friendly and the Norfolk Coast Path is easily accessible for walkies, while much of West Runton Beach (10 minutes’ walk) is open to dogs all year. You’re welcome to fire up your barbecue on site – buy stuff for the grill from the big supermarket in Sheringham (five minutes’ drive)… but if you’d rather someone else did the catering for you, there are a couple of pubs – both with beer gardens for warmer days – in West Runton (half an hour’s walk). And a final word: park amenities include a top-quality shower block with reliable hot water, washing-up sinks, a launderette service and Elsan point.

What customers say

This is a well-maintained, clean campsite with stunning sea views and direct access to coastal paths. Pitches are spacious, and facilities, including toilets and showers, are consistently praised for cleanliness and hot water. Staff are frequently described as friendly and helpful. Its location is ideal for walking to Sheringham and Cromer, and it offers a great base for exploring the local area. Some minor issues were noted, such as occasional WiFi unreliability and the need for more showers during peak times.

Church Field electric grass pitch

Liked 2nd visit here and we will definitely be back again, lovely sized pitch with close coastal walks to sheringham one way and Cromer the other way, timed right it was lovely to walk along the beach to Cromer with the dogs, shower facilities were really good and clean and the areas for filling up fresh water and getting rid of waste water and the rubbish bins all clearly marked for all to see, everybody friendly and there is a lovely coffee booth by the shower facilities that does great drinks and lovely foods for all..

Disliked WiFi was not great but we already knew this before so could hotspot off mobile if wanting to watch firestick live sports etc.

Church Field electric grass pitch

Liked Nice walks in surrounding area, shower and toilet blocks clean.

Disliked Most pitches were uneven and require levelling ramps, staff need to be more selective on allocation of pitches, some caravans had small pitches and could be difficult to position and camper vans and tents had large pitches

Church Field electric grass pitch

Liked Liked the very generous marked out pitches. The toilet and shower blocks are very very well kept and impeccable clean. Staff very polite. The whole site is very well maintained and ideally situated for walking to Sheringham. West Runton and cromer bus stops right at the top of the site. And its very reasonable pricing. I would highly recommend this site .

Local attractions

Keen walkers can be striding the Norfolk Coast Path within five minutes of putting on their boots. Shorter walks include the circular amble through beach woodland, heather and gorse at National Trust-owned West Runton and Beeston Regis Heath (35 minutes’ walk), which takes in Beacon Hill – one of the highest points in flat Norfolk – the relics of a former Roman camp and Stone Hill, with fine views to the North Sea. The animal-mad among you can get your fix at Hillside Shire Horse Sanctuary (five minutes’ drive), where rescue alpacas, donkeys and goats join the stately Shire horses for cuddling and petting duty. You might also be lucky enough to spot grey seals on the sand spit at Blakeney National Nature Reserve (25 minutes), where you can also wander around the salt marshes looking for snipe, warblers and terns. Once a fishing village, coastal Sheringham (five minutes’ drive) has lots of indie shops to browse, along with a pebble beach with rock-pooling potential when the tide is out. Cromer (10 minutes) beckons with a long sandy sward, shows at the Pavilion Theatre on its Victorian pier and an artwork from Banksy’s ‘Great British Spraycation’ installation on one of the sea walls.
