Liked: We requested pitches side by side which we had. Pitches were OK.
Disliked: The cleanliness of the shower block and toilets was disgraceful. The disabled shower had no hot water and when I requested if there were any disabled access in another block, I was told to "go and look". The receptionist was exceptionally rude and surly even when the electrical point would not work. There were limited showers available across an exceptionally large site and of those available, many had broken locks, overflowing sanitary bins, poo smeared along walls, filthy showers and limited hot water. The facilities were not cleaned within the whole of our 3 night stay. Judging by previous comments, this site does not take on board reviews!

Liked: The quietness, last year we came with friends in a tent had a lovely time thought this could be a yearly treat for me n the girls but the last time the facilities and the lack of staff pulse the lack of craps given by anyone, this is far from the experience we wanted
Disliked: No running hot water to take a shower, not remotely bothered not even an apology. For £175 for two nights and no running hot water was a big problem for me. Just received an apology email. 4 days after my stay. Nothing elec. Will not be coming again.

From the manager: We're sorry to hear about the hot water issues during your stay. One of our boilers unfortunately failed during that time, but we’re currently working to resolve it. Our site has several facilities, and while three blocks were unaffected, one was definitely impacted. We appreciate your feedback and are sorry we didn’t meet your expectations on this occasion.

Liked: Clean and organised the site itself was. How close to the country park it was.
Disliked: Toilets and showers not very clean only one block of the girls were working.
Was disappointed when we did walk into the country park that not a lot was actually running from what is advertised. For a bank holiday weekend I would have expected more to be running.

From the manager: We're pleased to hear that you enjoyed the play park, and we hope you had the chance to visit the large destination play park in the country park as well. Apologies for the hot water issues during your stay. Unfortunately, we experienced a boiler failure while you were here, but we're actively addressing the situation. While three of our facilities were unaffected, one block did experience issues. Thank you for your feedback, and we appreciate your understanding.

Liked: The location was great. The pitches were spacious and well kept. The playground was great to keep the children entertained.
Disliked: The toilet blocks could use a bit of TLC. Although the facilities were fine they weren’t always the cleanest and the water temperature was very temperamental.
The distance from our pitch to the electric hook up was very far. We were told we needed a 25m cable which we had, however even with this it was super tight and only just reached. Defintley take an extension if your on pitch 5 park view
