  • Well-maintained and family-run site five minutes' drive from Caistor
  • A 10-minute drive to Market Rasen; half an hour to Cleethorpes
  • Hikers' haven: plenty of local walks, plus the Viking Way close by
Chug on over to Station Farm Caravan and Camping for a well-placed break with loads to do all around… this well-maintained and family-run site is on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds, and a five-minute drive from Caistor and its leafy green surrounds. This is top territory for outdoor adventures, with easy access to trails including the 147-mile-long Viking Way running between Humber Bridge in north Lincolnshire and Oakham in Rutland; detour uphill to All Saints Church, a 15-minute drive from the site and overlooking the route, which pays homage to hikers with stained glass windows depicting walkers. Longer treks are all around too, including coastal ambles – best topped off with beach swims, of course – within half an hour’s drive. Meanwhile, landlubbers can roam round Hall Farm Park with a drive of less than five minutes. Return to the site to spread out on a roomy pitching field with access to cold water standpipes, chemical disposal, and a toilet and shower block added in 2019. For food and supplies, the nearest shops are in Caistor three miles away, where there’s a supermarket, takeaways and pizza along with several pubs. More options for food can be had over at one of the more than 50 independent shops in Market Rasen, 10 minutes from the site. The only racecourse in Lincolnshire is based here as well if you fancy a flutter on the horses… Don’t mind driving for 20 minutes? You can also pay a visit to Lincolnshire’s oldest thatched-roof pub.

Liked Stayed for three nights. It's a good site with nice surroundings. Not far from Caistor and Market Rasen. Facilities are good and clean. Toilets, showers, pot washing facilities Elsen disposal. Electric hook up initial charge of £5.00. Meter read upon end of stay. Unused electric refunded. Jo, the owner was very pleasant and helpful. Initially booked one night by mistake. Changed to two. Primitive grass campsite

Liked Pitched over looking a beautiful fishing like, which is next to the site. Good flat pitches. Lovely pub right next to the site, with sports, pool table & darts, as well as an outdoor bar and stage with weekend events on. I believe there are other pubs few mins away . The toilets were very clean some of the best we have seen. We are planning to return for a weekend in the future. Very reasonable my priced . Staff very helpful and friendly . Just a lovely site

Power optional grass campsite

Liked Great site, very clean and owner was amazing. Spoke about my dog and was understanding around the XL bully specifics (my dog isnt an XL bully he is an American bully staffy but government guideline specifics required me to register him). Very accomodating to this and happy to help with best pitch plots.
Toilet and shower block very clean and well maintained. Facitilies to wash clothes via a mini laungrette was a great feature.
Site overall was very clean and quiet nice location. Managed to find a nice little walk very near just go out of the site and turn right walk up the a road abit and you come to a caravan park which you then walk up (public access is allowed) to a reasonably sized fishing pond and woodland walk.

Power optional grass campsite

Liked The field was big enough not to be on top of other people but not too big to have to walk a while to the toilet block.

The shower and toilet block was clean and always well maintained.

The pub next door was an added bonus for a cold soft drink in the day if needed.

The owner, Jo was very helpful and on site regularly.

We were not bombarded on arrival, we were allowed to set up and fees were collected once we were settled.

Just and FYI
You have to pay for your electric separately on arrival. However you do get the remainder refunded at the end of your stay.

We will 100% be back.

Disliked We wanted to go for a walk but due to location it was unsafe with children as we'd have to walk on a main 60mph road.

Some kids that were not staying came on site and caused a nuisance. Shouting swearing and breaking things in the toilet block. However, the owner was there within minutes of a quick text and sorted the issue immediately.

There was no shade from the sun
