Well organised site.
Powered grass travel trailer or tent campsite
Liked Spacious and organised. Good clean facilities. Staff were efficient and friendly. Shop wasn't overpriced and had an incredible range of equipment, aside from the usual markup on food and drink, the practical items were very reasonable. I would have liked to swim in the lake and it was clear (blue IYKYK) they were doing their best to control the weed however on a small lake they didn't stand a chance. Most really large lakes are struggling this year.
Disliked Poor behaviour from other campers. Littering, peeing everywhere after dark, loud music and swearing, encroaching on other pitches for dining and parking and playing football inbetween cars. This was a few large groups nearby, not a reflection on the whole site. Had our children been with us, or our stay been longer, we would have asked to move to a different site or pitch.

Oops ....at least we tried
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked The staff were very nice and friendly. The sight was clean and Lou does a brilliant job.
The price of a washing machine £3.50 and the dryer from a £1 not bad.
Disliked The food in the bar was terrible. Burnt burgers, burnt sausages and carrots and the mash had hair in it. The price was £52 for three meals and a children's meal so you would expect some quality. The water park thing was not part of the camp sight and cost £20 the course is about half of a fishing lake.
The arcades was you won tickets yet it takes money.
There is not many showers for the amount of ppl staying on the sight 11 in three blocks.
They are cleaned but I'd say once a day isn't enough and they could do with more cleaning.
The washing machine area is not well shown on the map also not enough eminities two washing machines and two dryers.
Also there are no ironing stations. People staying on a none electric sight might need to iron some clothes. They are available in other camp sights we have stayed at. You couldn't purchase washing machine detergent either unless you bought it from the spar on sight.
Unfortunately for them with the prices so high no sale but lucky for us there is a lidil and a tesco just down the road which is much cheaper.
The tents were to close together so you were literally hear the people in the next tent snoring at night.
There's not much for the kids to do except play on the park and all the kids that are playing means there's nothing for them to play on because other kids are on it.
The fishing lakes were low on water my husband thinks they have been emptied for the residual fishing lakes. Not many fish in the lakes.
To be honest we've stayed at nicer places just thought we'd have a change but now we have we won't be returning.
