Liked: It's a quiet spot next to a farm. It's a rather small meadow but that makes the location more intimate. There are two toilets and one shower. The facilities are clean and tidy. For us the location had all we wanted.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked: This is a lovely small campsite with incredible views, it is well kept, cows are on-site to keep you company, and the owner is friendly and welcoming.
There are a couple of pubs a short walk away (30minutes), although these are accessed via roads, as opposed to country walks.
Overall this is a nice little campsite that I would definitely recommend for a visit.
Disliked: A slight downfall is there are only two toilets and one shower to share between the campsite so if you are looking to leave at a set time you may have a bit of a wait.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite (four person, adults only)
Liked: Clean toilet and bathroom
Disliked: There are only 2 toilets and 1 shower available, peak hour in the morning got a queue. Also be aware that no campfire is allowed.

From the manager: Hi thank you for your stay great photos. You came busiest weekend bank holiday but there’s never a queue for our showers usually. It’s just unfortunate you came in a bigger group and we only have 12 pitches, but luckily we never on other weekend, think only 1 person waiting. We can’t have host campfires in our farm, there’s a huge risk to us and we have to protect the farm and animals from potential fires and we put on pitch up no fires so people are aware before they book. The fire risk is too high and there’s been more fires this year from camping and our farm animals hate fires / smoke , so we just can’t have them on a small farm site. :) with 12 pitches would mean 12 fires and the risk is to high, we like the keep the site as cheap for people as possible and if we start putting more facilities and insurance for fires our prices will rise alot so we keep it a basic safe site for people. Thank you for staying carolyne :)
