What customers say
Riverside campsite with spacious pitches. Friendly staff & nearby pub are highlights. However, toilet/shower facilities are dated & can be unkempt or basic. Despite cleanliness concerns for some, many enjoyed the peaceful setting and plan to return.

Disliked The man on the reception (miserable) when you arrive and the lack of care and attention to the entire site.

Campsite is worn out and needs a lot of work to update it. Pub is good
Powered grass and gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked The WiFi connection was very strong The pub staff and food both excellent. The willow trees are beautiful.
Disliked The water point at my pitch didn't work and all other water points did not have a hose attached so I got soaked every time I filled up my water barrel. Toilets and washing block are dated and desperately need refurbishing. All pitches covered in weeds.

Worth a visit despite some dodgy toilet and shower facilities
Powered grass and gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked Love the site and location, near a pub on the riverside, plenty of space, well lit over night
Disliked Toilet and shower block needs a good refresh, even a coat of paint would help

So much potential not realised, but we enjoyed our weekend
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Lovely non-electric field - peaceful and plenty of space. The pub is great and wifi helpful.
Disliked The shower block isn't awful but looks a bit scruffy. The trays are too small so people leave the curtain open and the stall floor gets wet. One of the ladies toilets is a bit loose on the floor. There is no light in the washing up area and the steps are a bit wonky. The electric points make that field look messy. A real shame as a bit of TLC would lift it a lot. Also a bit frustrating that the ferry into Tewkesbury was discontinued.

Peaceful site in perfect location. Stayed…
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Peaceful site in perfect location. Stayed in the non electric part which is an enclosed round area with a willow tree in the middle. The site is behind the pub which has a large grass area right on the banks of the river. The pub had decent home cooked food at around £15 per meal with a really good range of beers/cider. After the negative reviews was a little wary of the toilet block but I found it to be basic but clean and perfectly adequate for the essentials needed.
