Spacious good standard campsite
Powered grass tent, campervan or trailer tent campsite
Liked Cleanliness, quietness, good pitch size.
Disliked Not the campsites fault but the local town of Ashbourne seems very tired and lacking investment (similar to a lot of English towns). The location of the campsite is good for exploring further into the Derbyshire Dales and Peak District.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Everything. The friendly staff, great views, spacious pitches (although our first camp, so nothing to compare to), location (rural, with Aldi, The Range, Mountain Warehouse, Halfords 6 minute drive away). The clean toilet/shower and dish washing areas. Enough space for kids to play ball games (carefully not to hit cars/tents), fly kites etc...
Disliked Nothing

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Lovely campsite with amazing views. The facilities were excellent, the whole campsite had a good feel about it. The wardens were helpful and friendly. It did get busy at the weekend which gave it a different feel but was quiet again by the time we left.

Really nice simple campsite that does all the basics right
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Only two main fields so quite compact. Nice showers. Camping ground is flat
Disliked Toilet block fairly small (wouldn't have wanted it to be any busier)

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Lovely site, excellent toilet facilities, good pub down the road.
Disliked If you are in the second field it is a long walk each time and at night times to the toilet block. Would prefer to pick your own pitch
