What customers say
A tidy park with good, private sites. The pub gets a thumbs-up for food & service. Toilets are a bit tight for numbers sometimes, and some mention road noise. Handy for getting around.

Unlikely to ever return
Fully-serviced concrete and grass site (premium)
Liked The food at the restaurant was a little pricey, but very good. Staff were polite, friendly and very helpful particularly concerning the wellbeing of one of our party experiencing a diabetic hypo.
Disliked The fully serviced pitch was extremely uneven (Pitch 21). Found numerous old metal guy rope pegs lying on the pitch adjacent to where the tyres were on our Motorhome. Each pitch had its own bin - ours was already full when we arrived. The shower block was insufficient for the site size, and the fittings and cleanliness left a lot to be desired. For two nights we paid £100 - we left after the first night!

Avoid and check who's on site before booking.
Unpowered concrete and grass site
Liked Venue, Location
Disliked Travellers onsite, dog mess all over grass areas, kids walking around with air rifles, kids causing nuisance and annoying campers, dogs barking constantly, machinery and large vehicles onsite with said community. Toilets not left respectfully. A real shame as the site is lovely, just not with that company. Clearly saw the income potential instead of returning customers. Firearms onsite with young kids is just ridiculous!

Friendly staff and perfect pitches.
Unpowered concrete and grass site
Liked The individual areas for pitching up, nice privacy.
Disliked It's on a very noisy busy road, especially at night when trying to sleep. There were also a group of people who were loud talking and playing music until very late, need some sort of contact number to report it.
Also, not enough toilets for the amount of people on the site.

If I could give negative star rating I would.
Fully-serviced concrete and grass site (premium)
Liked Not a lot
Disliked Poor pitch, unlevel and too small, broken light with exposed wiring left lying on pitch, poor facilities, one ladies toilet and one gents, additional toilets - poortaloo! Unfriendly staff. Site welcomed travellers with all their tree cutting trucks, tarmac vans, children towing caravans without number plates. Noisy. Dogs barking continuously, left unattended from 5-10pm, and then again from 7am. Staff couldn’t care less. Left site couple of days early.

Nice but would not stay again, pitch much too small for a large tent
Fully-serviced concrete and grass site (premium)
Liked The beer garden and the shower, toilet facilities
Disliked We had Sunday lunch which was late coming out and then it was lukewarm and not worth the money. The pitch was too small we could not do 1 side of the tent pegs because there was hedges

Nice option if traveling with a tent and you can't cook your own food
Unpowered grass tent site (basic)
Liked The restaurant, nice personel and good food.
Disliked Facilities, 2 showers which were good for camping standards but only one real toilet for the whole camping and two mobile toilets. Quite close the a medium road. I sleep with earplugs and definitely needed them.

Great place to stay for a bit of peace and quiet. Very friendly staff.
Powered concrete and grass site (comfort)
Liked Quiet well organised site. Great showers and toilet facilities. Lovely pitches.
Disliked Not easy to walk to a bus stop, busy main road.

Don’t bother if you want a quiet night
Unpowered concrete and grass site
Liked I liked the disabled toilet and shower room as it has a chair to sit in, but it does get the water all over the whole room
Disliked The pitch was small, the road was unbearable and noisy day and night. The toilet block only had one toilet and two showers one of which the drain cover was missing and it was filthy. There was only one area to get drinking water from and it was a long way from the majority of pitches. The Sunday roast dinner was terrible- one roast parsnip, wet veg, and hard roast potatoes with two slices of beef that were like old leather. For £20! The beef burger for children was inedible and dry. The soft drinks were exorbitantly priced and the service was just passable. There were no facilities for children. There was no one unless you went into the pub to assist you.
Don’t bother!

Lovely site with loads of space and a pub on site.
Unpowered concrete and grass site
Liked We stayed 3 nights and they were very accommodating with sorting out the booking so we could have the same pitch.
We have 2 dogs and we found it a good place to walk them and give them some exercise.
The pitch was very big as well as we have a big motorhome.
WiFi is really good
Pub has lovely food and we didn't feel too badly priced.
Disliked Not enough proper toilets for the whole site as only a couple.
