Liked: The site is a lovely small field .. it has trees for shade when it's hot .. I love the earth toilet you can use if you wish .. only a mile from Wells coastline too so nicely positioned .. the owners are friendly and helpful and live next door.
Disliked: We had electrical problems and had no electrics in the caravan which spoilt the holiday somewhat .. the owner was very helpful and gave us an extension lead from their home so we could make a cup of tea etc ., 🙂
My only dislike is a very noisy cockerel that seems to have his timing well out .. crowing loudly at 2.56am is not my idea of fun when I'm on holiday (that was the earliest, mostly 3.30am) .. 🤨

Wells next to sea. Very spacious pitches with picnic benches. Very clean and environmentally friendly toliet. Excellent wildlife and birdwatching. Chickens who provided entertainment leisurely clucking amonst the pitches. Lots of birdwatching spots within the wilder area. Will definitely be returning soon.

Liked: Everything was wonderful, the campsite was so peaceful with beautiful views of the fields for miles. We headed down to Wells beach and watched the sunset, then walked back to our tent to enjoy a chilled evening. We will definitely be returning as this was our favourite stay yet!

Liked: A lovely peaceful campsite with dark skies for star gazing.
A miniature train stop is very close to the site for a trip to Wells or a track if you prefer to walk.

Liked: We loved this campsite, so quiet, loads of room between pitches for tents, and each had a picnic table. We took our own firepit, but there are ones supplied if you need them. 5 minutes drive to Wells-next-the-Sea. The compost toilet is very clean. Would recommend this campsite if you like semi-wild camping.
