What customers say
Laurel Park comes highly recommended for its friendly owners and great facilities. Visitors loved the clean site, spacious pitches, and animal interactions, especially feeding times. It's a peaceful, well-kept spot perfect for families, with communal areas for games. Minor points about family bathrooms and Wi-Fi were noted, but most guests want to come back.

From the manager: Thanks for your feedback.
We created the small play park for under 5 year olds, as we felt there were already so many things for older kids:- ping pong, ball playing paddock, tree dens, pool table, guinea pig feeding, etc.

We liked the set up regardless of the little Noise.
Power optional grass site
Liked The place was lovely and clean, the owners are doing a great job, was very friendly and polite Great for our 2 puppies. Facilities were ample enough for the site, we didn’t need to wait too long if was in use. May visit again in the near future but we like to explore and try new places
Disliked Little bit noisy with the generator, which was unfortunately by where we was pitched, we did understand it was out of their Control. Same with the farming very noisy early and late hours as their fields are right next to the campsites . They could have had a little time off on the bank holiday Monday (again we understood).

From the manager: Thanks for your feedback. We are glad you enjoyed your stay here.
Regarding the generator - as you mentioned, this was outside our control. The national grid installed hundreds of them around the area to provide power to hundreds of homes and businesses whilst doing major infrastructure upgrades. The generator was outside our property boundaries, and served 3 other properties as well - we had no say in where it went or when. It was frustrating for us, but luckily was fairly quiet.
As for farmers and farming equipment, yes we are bordered on 2 sides by fields, which does mean occasional tractors, etc. We honestly don't notice them any more! And I am afraid farmers never take time off! ;-D

Disliked toilet & utilities set in front and our tents at the back, so need 2 mins walk every time.
also a road at the back pitch and very noisy at night during sleep.

Power optional grass site
Liked A lovely small camp site, with plenty of space at your pitch.
The guinea pig feeding at 8.30am each morning was the highlight of my children's day!
Pool table and ping pong table available which my older child loved.
Lots to do in local area.
Emma and Andy were wonderful hosts, available if you needed anything.
We had a wonderful week at Laurel Park - the children want to return next year.
Disliked I personally don't like shower curtains - no matter how much you clean and change them they always look grubby, maybe a glass/plastic shower door for hygiene purposes would be nicer.

From the manager: Thank you for your feedback and comments. We are glad we managed to get most things right for you and that you all had a great time here.
We also appreciate your comments regarding the shower curtains. We are not fans of them either, however, bi-folding shower doors are very expensive and add another item to the site that could (and probably would) go wrong - especially as they would likely experience a lot of hard use. But we are looking into it and may choose to upgrade to these at some stage.
Thanks again for your feedback.
