What customers say
This well-kept spot has roomy, flat sites and tidy facilities, with individual showers. The bar and restaurant are a hit, serving good, reasonably priced food. Known for its fishing and dog walks. While some mentioned train noise and minor shower hiccups, most feedback's great, with many keen to return.

The location, we were visiting family…
Camping pod (comfort, pet friendly, double)
Liked The location, we were visiting family who recently moved to the area. The toilet/shower facilities were clean and warm. The site was beautiful with the ponds etc and I can imagine in the sunshine it would be a great place to stay.
Disliked Not their fault but the weather was awful! After a beautiful summer it rained almost constantly and there was nowhere to sit other than the bed in the pod. The on site pub closed at 4pm but we sat in there for a while and it was very nice, dog friendly.
No free wifi

We cut our stay short
Fully-serviced concrete and grass caravan site
Liked The pitch sizes. The walks .
Disliked Unfortunately the toilet/shower block was in need of a good clean , there was toilet paper on the floor for 3 days . Bed linen from ( I presume) the pods, was left to ‘air’ over the railing at the shower block . There is no coded entry to the toilets/showers , which means they are accessible to anyone who chooses to use the country park . Staff could benefit from customer service training . We gave up and left half way through our intended stay.

The site layout and facilities…
Fully-serviced concrete and grass caravan site
Liked The site layout and facilities
Disliked Alarms went off in the early hours (01:15 and 06:45) and you can hear the trains running but nothing to drastic
The restaurant was really busy with local residents and getting served was an hour plus for Breakfast and Sunday lunch was again very busy, but that is a good thing for the Park owners (a tip, get in early) food was good.
