Liked: Lovely peaceful site, lovely walks from the site, especially to Church Minshall and The Badger pub, we were allowed to stay longer on Sunday which meant we had a full day - very much appreciated. Fantastic dog walk.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike

Liked: Scenery. Canal boats. Facilities very clean
Disliked: Toilets too far away from touring field. Cafe could have done with some basic meals like ham chips and peas and was very overpriced and alcohol was not on tap just in bottles. No on site ship for milk or bread or chippy. Disabled access to toilets not at all easy from outside door. Needs an automatic door. Ramps need to be made longer on edge of kerbs so you can get up in wheelchair/ mobility scooter. They don’t know how to do bookings as pitch was booked out 3 times over. Yesterday we got asked by avery stroppy woman to move off of the pitch we were on as it was booked to them. I showed them email. I then went with her to the house on site and knocked on the door to get it sorted out. I got told we should have been on pitch 9 not 14. I showed the man my email from them stating pitch 14. He told me to stay in the pitch 14 and the others to go onto pitch 9. Then got told by a guy today (Saturday )in blue shorts and a shirt and boat deck shoes to go off of our pitch that we were only booked in till this morning and had to be off pitch by 11 am even though we had booked in till the Sunday with pitch up. He just didn’t want to know just asked how long will it take you to pack up and go. My answer was as long as it takes as one of us is disabled. What gets me is there were still other pitches available. Will never go there again or recommend family, friends, friends of friends to go.

Liked: Lovely place. Clean toilets and showers. Clean all around the marina. Good place to walk dogs and dog bins along marina. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Food menu mainly snacks. Need a full meal. Highly priced. Wash/ toilet facilities a good distance away and only 2 showers and 3 toilets in the Ladies. Only one disabled toilet/shower room. The door outside of the building to get in opens outwards and my husband in wheelchair couldn’t open the door to get into without getting out of his chair to open the door and get inside and struggled to walk to the disabled toilet to use. No shop on site for milk or bread. No little chippy or take away. Bring your own food No access to the canal towpath which restricts where you can get to especially with mobility issues Would only recommend for a short stay not for a weeks holiday. Have to use car to go out everywhere.

Liked: The peace and quiet was lovely. Nice big pitch with plenty of space between each. Really good coffee from the cafe! Showers were hot but power a little on the weak side. Very clean.
