Liked: We had a fantastic experience at Flaxton Meadows campsite during our last minute two night stay arriving we were met by a friendly and welcoming gentleman named Michael who efficiently checked us in and guided us to our camping spot his helpfulness in showing us important areas such as water and electric hookups and where to dispose of rubbish as well as being available for any assistance at anytime enhanced my initial impression of the campsite the facilities at the campsite have left a lasting positive impression from the heated flooring in the bathrooms to good water pressure in the showers it appears that the campsite pays close attention to providing comfort and convenience for its guests Just the availability of hairdryers and the mention of a laundry room demonstrate their commitment to offering essential amenities The Champers for Campers bar was a cozy and welcoming spot for for us the well decorated space variety of drinks and the presence of a real coffee machine contributed to a pleasant atmosphere being made to feel welcome by Linda added a personal touch to our experience I appreciated the well-maintained camping pitch and the presence of robotic lawnmowers indicates that the campsite is indeed well cared for and aesthetically pleasing

Liked: The couple managing the campsite were very friendly and helpful, ensuring we were quickly settled in following arrival. The toilet and shower facilities were excellent - warm and clean, with plenty of hot water. We enjoyed a drink at the bar in the evening and had a peaceful nights sleep.
Disliked: Could do with a few hooks in the washroom.

Liked: Staff were excellent and couldn't have been more helpful. Site was emaculate and well maintained. Location was great for visiting York.
Disliked: We were a bit disappointed to be allocated a grass only pitch which was very soggy on arrival due to prelonged rain. We had requested a hardstanding and grass pitch when booking.
