What customers say
Friendly, family-focused site lauded for spotless facilities, charming animals, and scenic vistas. Praised for safe, enclosed play areas, a good-value cafe, and obliging staff. While overwhelmingly positive, some guests mention noise, tight spots, and fluctuating water temps. Many keen to revisit.

Overall we did have a lovely stay, it was very quite and peaceful.
Powered grass tent campsite
Liked The Friendliness of the staff...
And the manager/owner
Breakfast box and hot drinks at cafe very fresh and hot
Loved the picnic area
How easy it was to get too.
Lots of animals.
And nice small tent area.
Disliked No one to check us in on arrival as reception was closed. Manager did apologise next day when we made her aware.
Toilets and shower facilities are very basic. MY partner struggles to walk with his mobility, and found that we couldn't drive to our pitch not even to unload we had to carry everything across the field and found it very difficult. These are just a few minor points which im sure can be improved on.

Budget friendly
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Area was close to local places. It was ok for the one night for us. Did the job
Disliked Nobody to check us in. Someone had taken the spot allocated for us. People were walking past most of the night down the lane. Toilets were unclean and no toilet paper the entire time we were there. Looked like nobody had checked them at all.

Small quiet space, perfect for relaxing.…
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Small quiet space, perfect for relaxing. But interesting as there wasn't anyone there running the place, but thankfully someone was there that seemed to know the score.

Liked Lovely little campsite with farm animals . Stay friendly and welcoming . Bonus was a little hut serving breakfast drinks .
Disliked Toilets weren’t very clean - but when I did mention it to a member of staff she said she would go clean it .

Lovely place to stop for a few nights. Looks good for kids.
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Lovely little campsite with good facilities. Showers are large enough to be able to wash, dry and dress a child. Lovely fresh air.
Disliked Not much other than the rocks stopping my pegs going in.

Wondeful little site. Very peaceful.
Powered grass tent campsite
Liked Loved the size of the site itself. Very peaceful. The farm animals are gorgeous, we didn't use the cafe on site but it seemed to be pretty busy. There are only 10 pitches so no risk of overcrowding. As soon as my tent was set up we were joined by a cat. My son loved him. Washing up facilities near the cafe. We were woken up one morning by the Highland cow, it was beautiful. I would recommend this site.
Disliked The tiny toilet block but if you head to the cafe toilets they're much bigger so not really any issue.
