What customers say
This adults-only site is loved for its quiet vibe, great country views, and super clean facilities. Pitches are roomy and private. It's very dog-friendly, with many enjoying the fenced sites. Staff are often called friendly and helpful. Despite a few mentions of Wi-Fi and shower lights, reviews are mostly excellent, with many planning to come back.

Blissfully peaceful and well maintained
Hawthorn Field primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite (no pets)
Liked If you are looking for a peaceful, noise-free, adult only camping trip on a secluded pitch, this place is for you. Even in August it was blissfully quiet. Hawthorn field does not allow dogs and has purpose cut generous pitches spread out in the long grass. There is good shelter from wind along the hedge row pitches. Oak field is dog friendly. There is a pub serving lovely food, an enjoyable one mile walk along a quiet country lane.
The two unisex toilets are flushing, modern and spotless with sinks and mirrors. The two showers have large shower heads and worked well. There is a Londis fuel station for provisions under a 4 mile drive away. We visited four National Trust properties within around one hour's drive.
As a relatively new campsite, a lot of thought and effort has gone into making it practical, for example an information shed, picnic benches on each pitch and great wifi. After many years of camping, this is my new favourite site and we would love to return. Thank you Tamsin and Ella!

Amazing well kept campsite with great friendly owners.
Hawthorn Field primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite (no pets)
Liked Fantastic location, really beautiful tidy site with well kept toilets and showers. Good WiFi at pitch which was clearly labelled with number and light so as to find in dark. Well mown pitches but with meadow grass in-between, giving nice separation.
Owners were fantastic in rearranging the booking when unable to travel due to thunderstorms (we were touring on motorbikes). Great communications via both email and phone. The map and instructions to find site supplied via email prior to arrival was great.
Not related to campsite - if you're wanting to eat at the nearby White Horse Inn, pre-book! We couldn't get a table on a Saturday night.

Quite and beautiful
Fenced primitive grass and earth tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Quite, each plot is spaced out so you not on top of others. Very doggy friendly. Our enclosed pitch was very large and perfect to pitch up and have room for the dog to have a run too. WiFi worked perfectly, facilities spotless. We will definitely be back next year.

Fenced primitive grass and earth tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked This is a fantastic site if you like peaceful countryside. The dog fenced pitch was plenty big enough and clean. The views were amazing and the toilets and showers clean with plenty of hot water. There are only 2 showers and 2 toilets, but we never had to wait even on Saturday morning when the site was busy. Lovely farm walks and plenty to do within a short drive. The site is sloping - as you’d expect for the CotsWOLDS - giving amazing views, so bring levelling chocks. It was also quite windy when we stayed - which was very welcome in 30 degree heat, so bring decent pegs. If you want it there is great WiFi covering the site, even at the very top end where we were. We will definitely stay again.
Disliked Nothing - it’s a great little site
