What customers say
A friendly, relaxed campsite with spacious, level pitches and easy access. Praised for its canal-side setting with nearby pubs and cafés, plus great walking. Staff are helpful and welcoming. Facilities are basic but clean for most, though some noted dated amenities and occasional drainage smells. Road and air traffic noise reported by a few.

Powered grass campsite
Liked Friendly welcome and great information given about the local are. The site is very close to a restaurant/bar as well as a local cafe. We must have enjoyed as we booked an extra night.
Disliked With the site being busy the facilities are on the small side. However what there was was clean and that's what really matters.

Relaxed and friendly but sensor light needs resetting or removing.
Powered grass campsite
Liked Friendly and relaxed. We stayed on a Sunday and it was quiet too which was great.
Disliked The lights in the toilet / shower block are on a sensor. I went for a shower at 10pm and the lights went out on me leaving me in complete darkness mid shower. I had to come out into the middle of the room - out of shower cubicle before the sensor worked and the lights came on. I would say the light stayed on for 5 mins at a time.

Powered grass campsite
Liked The location is fantastic, Tom the owner of the field was really kind, he even sourced some milk for me to have a cup of tea in the morning. We stargazed at night and regretted not bringing a telescope!
