With palm trees dotted across the park and an Andalusia beachfront location, Alcorrín's Camping La Bella Vista – a 20-minute walk from the seaside resort of Puerto de La Duquesa on the Costa del Sol – is a splendid seaside spot where pitches are shaded by established palm, plane and eucalyptus trees. Laze on a lounger at the beachfront swimming pool or on Playa El Castillo beach, getting up to order cocktails at the site's outdoor bar and food at the restaurant. Fill your belly with tasty food while looking out at the Mediterranean Sea through the big windows, or bag a table and chairs on the terrace out in the open air for a drink while you look out at a stunning sunset. For indoor imbibing, a lounge bar serving beers, wines and spirits (with a wide TV if you need your television fix…) is on site as well. More into exploring than eyeing up screens while on a hol? Ask at reception about organising trips around local hotspots such as the British territory of Gibraltar (45 minutes’ drive) and the glitzy seaside resort of Marbella (40 minutes). Quiz them about walking trails, scuba diving, sailing, fishing, paragliding and horse riding tours too – all are available in the local area. To feel the sea breeze on your face, wander for 10 minutes along the beachfront promenade towards the fishing village of Castillo de la Duquesa, continuing on for another 10 minutes to Puerto de La Duquesa for a pretty marina lined with bars, restaurants and cafés. Stop off here for paddles at Playa de la Colonia beach – it’s a sandy stretch of coast with a playground for the kids. Camping La Bella Vista has modern, high-quality facilities including individual showers with 24-hour hot water, family bathrooms, disabled facilities, washing machines and dryers. A well-stocked supermarket selling essentials and camping supplies is also at the park.

Prime beachfront spot, close to pubs & eats. Immaculately clean, modern facilities (toilets/showers ace!). Staff are legends. Generally peaceful, but some found pitches small, road noise, or pool busy. Wi-Fi patchy, restaurant pricey for a few.

Liked A pesar de que este año estuvimos en una parcela chica porque no había parcela grandes cuando reservamos, con el inconveniente de que el coche lo teníamos que dejar fuera, estuvimos bastante bien.

Disliked Respecto a los aseos este año los he encontrado más sucios que otros años, aunque desde luego no se debe la limpieza porque se quedaban perfectos, sin duda es debido a los usuarios, he visto cosas que nunca había visto. No sé cómo se puede resolver el problema de la mala educación, pero habría que darle una vuelta a eso

Liked Große Stellplätze. Das Personal hat auf Beschwerden sofort reagiert und Abhilfe geschaffen. Genügend Toiletten und Duschen.

Disliked Alle Stellplätze heißen „Deluxe“, was verwirrend ist. Zur Toilette musste man einen langen Gang entlang gehen, eine Treppe wäre sinnvoller.

Disliked El acceso a la parcela fue bastante complicado. Al llegar nos encontramos bastante basura en la parcela, avisamos a recepción pero nadie se acercó a limpiar. Tuvimos que recogerla nosotros.
