As Lombardy locations go, this one is a particularly splendid one, right on the shores of Lake Garda and a couple of kilometres from Moniga del Garda. Fab views are part of the offering here, but guests at Sivinos Camping Boutique don't have to limit themselves to gazing wistfully over the lake, as there's direct access to the water and a whopping five-kilometre stretch of beach. Guests who manage to drag themselves away from the scenery and swims should also find this site to be handily located too: a gentle half-hour lakeside stroll gets you to Moniga del Garda for plenty of shops and restaurants. For more of an urban day out, the city of Brescia is around a 45-minute drive away and Verona, Cremona and Venice are all within easy reach too. There’s a whole heap of activities to keep guests occupied around these parts, including watersports, horse riding, boat trips and bike rides. The region also is home to lots of scenic villages looking out onto the lake, as well as local wineries (tasting strongly encouraged). Foodwise, you can head to Sivinos Camping Boutique's pizzeria, rustle up your own grub (barbecues are permitted) or head out to Moniga del Garda to try some local fare. No need to leave base if you need to stock up on essentials: there's a handy food shop on site.

Stunning lakeside spot, many spots right on Lake Garda with cracking views. Facilities spick and span, staff a treat, and the restaurant's a winner. A few found the spots a bit snug for bigger rigs and the odd bit of noise, but it's a top-notch, clean, and gorgeous place overall. Dog-friendly and close to the beach too!

Liked We had a lake pitch and it was really lovely we came for one night and stayed for three

Just on the lake! The bar have a really good food with good prices
The owner of the place and all the crew are very nice and kind people.
We had the best time and waiting to come back!

Liked Traumhaft schöner Platz direkt am See. Leckeres Essen auf dem Campingplatz und morgens frischer Kaffee wenn man möchte. Brötchen waren etwas trocken. Sanitäranlagen sind völlig in Ordnung.

Liked Beautiful location, the pitch was large enough and had access to the beach. Amenities were close by, clean and tidy.
Having lost my wedding ring on the pitch the team were able to find it and assist us in getting it returned.

Disliked Personal opinion and no fault of the site thw nearest twin was just too far to walk to. Shame dogs are not allowed on the beach between 09:00 ro 19:30. Again not a fault of the campsite, local area ruling.

Small pitches couldn’t have car next to caravan or have an awning up
Booked for 10 days after 8 told we had to move pitches which was inconvenient as they didn’t tell us on arrival
Very loud music fri and sat nights goes on til 2am
Getting to pitch was difficult they don’t make roads big enough for caravans

Liked Eine wirklich schöne, kleine und gepflegte Anlage. Ebenso die Bar war wirklich sehr einladend. Wir hatten direkten Seeblick, was wirklich traumhaft war. Auch der Check In verlief absolut entspannt. Wir wurden auf alles in kürzester Zeit hingewiesen und konnten nach 5 Minuten auch schon an unseren Platz.

Local attractions

Lake Garda is a marvellous sight, and where better to take in its splendid vistas than from the shores of a private island? Isola del Garda, open between March and October, can be reached only by boat (regular services leave 20 minutes' drive away from base). The crossing is scenic in itself, but once ashore there's an elegant neo-gothic villa to explore. If Isola del Garda's early 20th-century architecture inspires you, continue on to Vittoriale d’Italia (half an hour) and its Art Deco house and gardens. For a kid-pleasing jaunt, Gardaland (35 minutes) has a smashing theme park and aquarium. If you fancy keeping things classy (and why not – this site is called 'boutique' for a reason), there's a golf course 10 minutes away and Avanzi winery (10 minutes' drive) organises regular tastings and tours to see the wine barrels that are stored in old underground tunnels. Outside the immediate local area, swing by Sirmione, a town perched on a lakeside peninsula (don't miss the castle ramparts that extend out into the water). Beyond the lakes, Verona is 50 minutes away by road, and pleasant little Cremona is an hour. Venice is a little further afield at an hour and 45 minutes.
