What customers say
Great campsite, clean & spacious spots (some river views!), ace pools. Friendly staff and a cracking spot near Les Andelys. Most had a ripper time, though a few noted tricky shower temps, clean-up hiccups, and paid Wi-Fi. Top choice for families and exploring.

Not the quiet site we had been hoping for
Powered grass site (comfort)
Liked The friendly welcome, and plenty of activities if we’d been staying for more than one night. The bathrooms were clean and had hairdryers.
It was a nice campsite between the river and a lake but purely for the loud music late at night (it was also mentioned in other reviews before we booked it but I thought that it was probably a one off), I wouldn’t stay here again.
Disliked The loud music from the marquee that started mid evening and didn’t stop until 11.30pm. Unfortunately, we had been allocated a pitch near the entrance and therefore near the marquee. I don’t know if people further away would have heard it. We stayed on a Thursday evening.
I was also scalded by the hot water in the shower. I let it run for one press of the button to warm up and when I stepped under, it was lovely. But very quickly it got so hot that I couldn’t stand under it. I had to press the button about 3-4 more times before it started getting back to a normal temperature. Something to be aware of if you have little ones. Once it had calmed down, it was lovely.

Nice site, which the loos were closer.

Liked The site was really clean and tidy. The views of the chateau and river are beautiful.
Disliked The showers were quite a way from our pitch. It was a long walk for a wee.

Scenic campsite with excellent facilities
Powered grass site (comfort)
Liked We loved the facilities, especially the heated pool. It was an overcast evening when we arrived but because the pool was heated we could still enjoy an evening swim. The location is beautiful with views of the castle, the river and the bridge. Nice pitch and we were happy to find that our request of a shady pitch was granted. The music the campsite put on in the evening was excellent and we enjoyed listening to it
Disliked The campsite was very noisy until about 2.30am with lots of shouting which wasn’t great when we were tired from a long drive.

Liked - Beautiful surroundings, views were stunning
- Amazing facilities for children, the pool and play areas were a hit
- Showers, best we've seen in a campsite this year
- Really peaceful vibes during the day, very relaxed
- Great location, half hour from Monet's garden (must see) and Rouen Art Gallery, 50 minute drive away.
Disliked - The awful and loud euro-trash DJ/rave music starting at 11.30 at night till 1am (not family friendly), in the marquee behind reception that kept me awake (our pitch was not close either) will be the sole reason I'll never return. What is odd, is that the campsite itself is dead silent at this time of night and this was the only noise... There was literally a small group of people in the marquee (I had a look on my way to the loo one night thinking the whole campsite must be in there). We stayed 2 nights and this happened both nights, a Thursday and Friday.

View of castle and short walk…

Liked View of castle and short walk to lovely Les Andelys. Large pitches.
Disliked Was told would have to pay for WiFi but then found free WiFi near the restaurant. Shower water far too hot.

Excellent and good price

Liked Our third year coming back to this campsite and enjoyed it just as much. The pools are great. Nice bar and food pretty good. Facilities clean. Great location by the river with pretty little town in walking distance for supermarket and bakery. This time we had a problem with our van and the staff were so helpful which we really appreciated.
