Liked Very clean and well laid out site. Being in Portmeirion itself feels very exclusive. Lovely facilities, showers were amazing.
Disliked Noise. Despite it clearly stating it should be a quiet site, there were a couple of VW campers that were having a collective party going on to 1.30 am. There are rules, but no one about to see that people stick to them.

Liked We thought it would be busy and noisy but we were wrong..from the reception at the beginning to departure ...it was relaxed, quiet and friendly.
The toilets/showers were clean and tidy and the motorhome water and discharge area was spot on.
For us there was nothing not to like while we were there.

A delightful way to experience Portmeirion

Liked A really special place to stay. Wonderful to have private access to the village and the hotel pool, away from the day visitors. The pitches were lovely, with a private water supply at each pitch. The toilet/shower block was very close, new and beautifully maintained. A delightful stay.
It also works out at exceptional value, if you calculate that adults pay £20 to enter the village, but this is included in your site fee.
Disliked It's very 'grown up', no grassy or playground areas for children.
Ensure you book the hotel or castle restaurants in advance, as all of the other eateries on site close at 1600hrs.

Liked Clean and tidy. Good amount of private space in allocated spot. Benches, table water and electic hook up each. Use of the lovely outdoor pool. Wandering around Portmeirion at night when it was quiet. The woods and land around are massive. Wander around and make the most of the enormous site. A fellow camper was given porter service for his wife from the station, a service I think all of the guests, whether hotel, on site house or campervan can have. Great facilities.
Disliked Expensive dining. Was told by fellow camper you can't leave the site at night and get back in. So no takeaways? Can't confirm that though. Take supplies to cook your own meals.

The village is beautiful and walking distance from the site.use of the swimming pool.
Shower rooms seemed a small amount only 3.
Very clean .as is dishwash room.
Quite site.Loved it.
The hotel bar and restaurant wonderful food choice and fish and chips in the Castell excellent.

WiFi was a bit rubbish.
I think the pizza /pasta Caffè Glas restaurant it would have been good if that was open at 6.30pm till maybe 9.30pm,That would have been handy for a less formal meal on site.Im sure that would prove a winner.

Liked Absolutely loved everything!! Spotless facilities, pretty floral surrounded pitches, electric with your own water supply, short stroll into village, free access to outdoor heated pool (luxury as we hit the heatwave!). Once checked out at 11am you can move up the road to free carpark and still use the village and pool for another day!!!! Oh and the coastal walk to lighthouse was amazing and the woodland walks! Such value for money !
