Fully-serviced concrete and grass caravan site
Liked Love this site. This is my second time visiting, first in a tent, second time in a tourer caravan, both times we had everything we needed and loved it both times. Torrent walk itself is very beautiful, and the local town is great!

Nice site but would recommend for…
Power optional grass site
Liked Nice site but would recommend for Tents only, we were in a motorhome and the road was very narrow for reaching and departing from the site
There was a lot of people on the site with it being a bank holiday and 99% of them were using fire pits which were in close proximity of all the pitched units
The facilities were very clean, good powerful hot showers
Ideal base for walkers
You checked yourself in online and we never once knew who actually was in charge of the site,, you pitched yourself up on your dedicated pitch on arrival
No barriers etc

Crowded, busy
Power optional grass site
Liked Location is good. Showers are hot. Site is well maintained
Disliked Impersonal, rules posted everywhere, loads of people crammed in, this is like a factory farm version of camping.

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to review our campsite. We appreciate your feedback.
We believe that your review may be somewhat unfair. To maintain the high standards of our campsite, we must enforce certain rules. It is difficult to find a place without any rules, and although these are clearly stated at the time of booking, occasional reminders are necessary. Posting these rules in key locations is the most effective way to ensure that all guests are aware of them.
Regarding your comment about overcrowding, we respectfully disagree. Our campsite has a limited number of pitches, each of which is spacious and designed for individual bookings. We do not place multiple bookings on a single pitch. While our campsite is large, it may appear crowded during bank holiday weekends when we are fully booked. However, we believe this reflects the quality and popularity of our site.
Thank you for your understanding.
Scenic, perfect for access to snowdonia, Barmouth, Mach loop ect
Power optional grass site
Liked The staff are lovely, clean showers and toilets, good views and walks in the area
Disliked Some of the higher up pitches are on a slope, wouldn't be an issue going back as would take bigger ramps, so as long as you have think level ramps, you'll be fine, but most the pitches are level enough. The view from the higher up pitches makes up for it though

Super lovely stay, large pitches, good location and WiFi throughout
Powered grass site
Liked Really gorgeous campsite, tucked away from the road and overlooked by sweet horses. Showers were strong and hot and placed in a block with lots of ammenities. Also has a £1 power wash bike wash + bike storage which was super handy.
Disliked It was great that you could hire a fire pit but you have to buy any wood on site this is not initially included in the price. When I pre-booked I hoped I’d have everything needed.

Power optional grass tent site (two person, small)
Liked First time away with my partner ,so a bit of an experiment .
They enjoyed it , that's a bonus.
Site quite and friendly.
Staff were helpful and easy going .
Facilities were basic but good .
Disliked With hindsight we needed to inform site that partner was disabled , put at the very top of site and for my partner this was an issue.
Pitch was not as flat as we would have like kept rolling on them in the night lol
