What customers say
This is a ripper, well-kept campsite on a working farm. Campers rave about the super clean, modern facilities, especially the loos. Owners are always called friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The peaceful vibe, lovely country views, and farm animals add to the charm. It's a short walk to town, pubs, and shops. Most reviews are glowing, with only a few minor mentions of occasional noise and needing more loo paper.

Liked Lovely well maintained site with very clean showers and toilets, a great vibe about the site with a large mix of generations and different people.
Friendly owner and very responsive.
The camp rules were well observed, we were a bit worried a party on site would go on late but they stopped and respected the camp curfew, it was great watching everyone having fun
There was a well stocked farm shop on site with fantastic sausages and great meats, ice cream, cheeses, did I mention the sausages?
The pitches were well spaced and well marked, electricity supply was easily within reach.
Disliked They ran out of sausages in the farm shop

Liked On the day we were checking in, i received a message telling me to just pull into any pitch of my choice. Really generous pitch sizes and well maintained toilet and shower blocks. In the three days I was there, we only spoke to the owner once and that was to ask if my neighbours were keeping quiet at night. Even the kids were well behaved

Good site. Clean facilities. Friendly staff

Liked Staff friendly. Toilets and showers very clean. Very close to castle.
Disliked Dogs roaming free. Leaving mess on grass and not getting picked up.
Recommend to friends Visit again
From the manager: Thanks for your review and yes dogs should be kept on leads as we have chickens/alpacas that also like to wander onto site which people love to experience. We are sorry that you came across dog mess not being picked but we find your review score of 6 unfair as we would have dealt with this had you brought it to our attention the many times me or one of my family was on the site during your stay.
