What customers say
Stunning spot near Oban, with great views and friendly staff. Facilities mostly clean but a bit dated. Some pitches are lumpy and muddy, especially for big rigs. Water supply issues and ongoing work were also flagged.

One of the worse campsite in UK
Powered grass caravan site
Liked Quiet
Disliked No drinking water, not good not even to brush teeth. In the owners’ opinion water should be boiled each time. But the water was a yellowish brown, so full of residue that boiling wasn’t likely to solve… It didn’t even look fit for washing the dishes or taking a shower. Bathrooms in pitiful conditions. The drainage didn’t work properly so the shower turned into a pool after mere seconds. The dishwashing sinks had a press-down tap, you had to keep the knob pushed down in order to have the water down, so you were left with only one hand available to actually wash the dishes; it does not make any sense! Price too high for what is offered. No laundry facilities. Very narrow street to arrive on the site. WIFI should work only at the reception but it doesn’t. Negative experience

Great site; beautiful location, friendly staff clean facilities
Unpowered grass tent site
Liked There is plenty of space to park and a friendly reception team to help when checking in who also provided a helpful guide for the local area. Reception had a decent supply of snacks/camping food too and they even offered a free pack of dog treats for guests with dogs which is a nice touch. There’s a nice little walk up to the top of the holiday park and looping back round to the lower field which is great for dog owners in particular. The setting is beautiful and on a clear evening sitting out was very pleasant with the sun slowly sinking behind the Isle of Kerrera keeping the campsite warm. Finally, the fields are really well maintained making pitching and staying in a tent straightforward and comfortable.
Disliked The old jetty at the bottom of the smaller tent field is a bit of a hazard and getting into the water is quite a challenge. This is a real shame as once you’re in the water it’s a lovely place to swim. Would be great to see some newer steps put in or something similar to make it a bit more accessible.

Great for view and communication, not great at all for the facilities.
Unpowered grass tent site
Liked The view, the amability of the people at the reception, the late-arrival procedure, the quietness of the camp site
Disliked The facilities - not enough toilets and showers, and once I finally managed to get a shower (after being told by the cleaner to go to the other building near the bungalows because she had to clean the showers at 9am...), it was cold, with 5-second spells of warm-ish water, otherwise freezing cold. In the evening, the mens toilets were not the cleanest, and very smelly - although I'm not sure you can do anything about it, and the womens toilets were good apparently.

Liked A really pretty setting for a campsite. I liked the free range pitch where you like approach.
Disliked No drinking water provided on the site with no pre warning of this. All the water is yellow in colour, the toilet and shower facilities were unclean and the washing up facilities only had cold water. The plumbing situation at this campsite needs some drastic improvements asap!
