What customers say
Whinney Hill Farm's lauded for its stunning, peaceful setting & spotless, top-notch facilities, incl. composting toilets & showers. Staff's friendly & helpful, the vibe's tranquil with great views. Most loved it, though a few found lugging gear tough due to no cars on pitch & horseflies. Rescued racehorses are a bonus.

Great site
Unpowered grass tent site
Liked The space was great, not over crowded, kids had space to play. No one bothered us and just let us be, to enjoy the lovely scenery. Communal fire pit is a great idea. Everything is well thought out on site. Toilets won't be for everyone but they're just something you get used to, better than any portaloo.
Parking at Beck Bull only 10 minutes away and a play in the River Lune not to be missed

Peaceful Paradise
Serenity bell tent
Liked Hearing the BTRC horses Whinney means it’s the most appropriate name for this site. The tent is large and luxurious with a very comfy king size bed. Spectacular views and well maintained facilities.

Lovely stay, happy memories made
Serenity bell tent
Liked The king sized bed was really comfy and we loved the peace and quiet. The little extra touches were really appreciated. Lovely area to sit and relax (and space for a 2 year old to burn some energy) but also close to some nice places to explore
Disliked The composting toilets!

Beautiful ground, big space between pitches…
Unpowered grass tent site
Liked Beautiful ground, big space between pitches which was good as we could play music (quietly!) around our firepit in the evening without disturbing others, extremely peaceful, lovely views.
Transporting stuff from the car to pitch was made easy with the unloading bay and trolleys.
Toilets were kept very clean and we’d never used compost toilets before but the instructions made it very easy. Hot shower a bonus!
