What customers say
This cosy, peaceful farm campsite has brilliant views & a super friendly owner. Clean facilities, great pods. A few stray cats, but most reckon it’s a ripper and they'll be back. Top spot for hitting the Western Lakes.

Sheep Fold shepherd's hut
Liked A lovely, quiet site with welcoming owners. Peaceful surroundings, beautiful views, and breathtaking sunrises over the mountains. The small size of the site suited us perfectly as we were on our own without the kids. Toilets and showers were spotless, and the facilities were thoughtfully stocked with towels, soaps, washing-up liquid, and other extras, which was a really nice touch. The sofa bed was a bit compact, so it may not be the most comfortable option for larger guests. Overall really enjoyed our weekend here.

Nice, clean site on a working farm.
Powered gravel campervan site
Liked Nice, basic site, a little tricky to find but used coordinators from pitchup. Clean but simple toilets and shower (note that these are shared male and female facilities).
Recommend to friends Visit again
From the manager: We are a small site and as regards shared facilities there is one room with a shower toilet and hand basin which can be licked so these facilities are orivate to you if you wish.
Do not folliw the postcode to find us as we share our postcode with several others including another farm. Use Harebeck cottage on google maps or what3words relocated.turned.holidays.

Great short stay site
Powered gravel motorhome site
Liked Stunning location which was quiet. As a small site it had everything needed and enough space for camper vans.
The children had plenty to play with in the shed and play house and were occupied for hours.
Cathryn was lovely and welcoming and the snores packs on the honesty shed were an excellent addition

From the manager: thank you for leaving a review. We have just added a Shed Shop it holds Smores pack, Barbecues, matches, Homemade Jams Strawberry Raspberry and Blackcurrant and eggs or veg when these are available. It works on an honesty basis.

Liked Everything was great, there was everything you'd need and the toilets were clean. Great location for walks.
Recommend to friends Visit again
From the manager: Thank you for your review. There are plenty of quiet low level walks accessible nearby as well as walks and hikes a short drive away in the Wasdale, Ennerdale and Eskdale valleys with Buttermere and Loweawater further afield. Numerous sandy beaches are close by with rock pools in need of exploration.
