What customers say
Spacious, peaceful riverside pitches in a rural setting. Campers loved the friendly owners, clean facilities & eco-friendly touches. A great "wild camping" feel with handy amenities. Minor hiccups with directions/showers but most guests loved it and want to return.

Crook of the River unpowered grass tent, campervan or trailer tent site
Liked Great location and lovely big pitches. Very quiet campground. Well maintained campground that does not feel crowded. Lovely walks available starting from the campsite.
Disliked I wish it had more/better facilities. Proper hot showers, washing up sinks etc. Facility also could’ve been a bit cleaner. Shame you can’t actually go down to the river as it is protected, would’ve been so fun to play with the kids there.
