Liked: This is the most idyllic location, set on a small farm with a back drop of lush woodland and between fields containing horses to one side and cows with their calves to the other. The site has a beautiful lake which you are encouraged to walk round and explore, we saw carp, moorhen ducklings, oyster catchers and geese! Caroline (the owner) has a lovely flower garden and arbours of gorgeously scented roses. There are 6 pitches, very generously spaced, level and set around a green - it really is a lovely place to stay.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike but if pressed to say something, it is a shame there is no pub in the village!

Liked: Very well maintained site with helpful and friendly staff. The owners clearly care and take pride in their offering. On a working farm, so lovely to sit and watch the animals go about their business. Not far from York and only a short hourly bus ride to the city so no worries about parking. Definitely one to visit again.

Liked: The site was lovely and clean, set in a gorgeous area, even having a small lake to have an evening stroll around. We stayed in a fully serviced hardstanding touring pitch. We were next to a woodland, which edged one side of the site and waking up to the varied bird song on a morning was just amazing. The owners were really helpful and friendly, if you needed any support they'd be there! Yes there are sites close by that I'm sure have lots going on, BUT this site has the peace and tranquility they strive for!!! We loved it and will definitely be coming back!

Liked: Just spent an amazing weekend at Old pasture Park, it's a family run working farm, fantastic location for york & surrounding areas, super easy to get to & in a lovely tranquil setting, adult only & dog friendly. No shower/toilet facilities but who cares we have our own! Beautiful lake to walk around & the Shepherds huts look amazing. Surrounded by wildlife & nature, what's not to like! Thank you for a pleasant stay! Already missing the sound of the cows!

Liked: We absolutely love Old Pasture Park as it’s only an hour’s travelling from home and easily accessible. The approach is beautiful and you pass the farm’s cowshed to enter the pitches which are a good size and have electric hook ups and a personal water tap. The pitches are around a lovely circular central field and there are fields all around. There is a beautiful lake to walk around too, which has two shepherds huts on its perimeter and there are also flower beds to view. There is a bus stop just 300 yards up the road from the touring park, which makes it so easy to get into York without using your car. Sam and his family, the owners, are lovely and very amiable. This is one of our favourite CL’s as it’s really quiet and has hardstandings which are very flat. Highly recommended.
