Liked: Very peaceful and quiet location on a farm with chickens and cows for company alongside max 4 other vans. Friendly owners and 2 very lovely sociable dogs who came for an early morning visit. Across the road from beautiful Dalby Forest.
Disliked: Nearest pub 6 miles away. Fine for us but just be aware!

Liked: Excellent site for a self contained unit out in the countryside with farm animals around and great walks. Owner called us on day of booking to give us arrival information in case we arrived while he wasn’t there as he didn’t want us to run into problems finding the farm or getting stuck on the grass. When we arrived he was there to welcome us make sure all was ok for us. Parked up between the farm and the barn with water and electric on the pitch, waste was a short distance from the pitch but with easy access. Great price for a night away from road noise with just local wildlife and farm animals as neighbours.
Disliked: Nothing we disliked.

Liked: Great location, decent facilities, EHU, fresh water, waste disposal on site. Friendly, helpful owner (Bob). Will definitely return when everything dries out.
Disliked: The parking on grass was a nightmare with all the rain. Bob thankfully was able to pull us off pitch with his tractor.

Liked: Great little campsite. The owners couldn't be more helpful and friendly. The site is a grass site with no hard standing and a little slippy at the moment due to the unusual amount of rain we had this year, but that's not a problem due to the instructions given on arrival. Electric hook up and water is provided on each pitch and there is an area to empty toilet waste. Situated in the heart of the Countryside with stunning views. The roads are a little narrow and windy to get there but again this is not an issue if care is taken, and the views on route are well worth the trip. It was a little out of the way on our journey but I'm glad we made the effort to go there.

Liked: The peace, tranquility, and very friendly hosts. We have visited at least once a year for the last 7 or so years. Listen to and watch the birds. Enjoy a walk in the forest. Just relax. Located on the edge of the Dalby Forest that is the quiet, some traffic in the distance at the end of the farm lane but doesn't cause any disturbance. Dark skies at night for sky watching. Oped field with electric hook ups very relaxed pick where you want to park, not level every where so just have some leveling up chocks, can get a bit soft under foot in heavy rain. We drive a Sprinter campervan that we find is easily accommodated on the site. There are no showers or toilet blocks so you need to be self contained.

Liked: Beautiful and tranquil site. Rob the host was excellent, spoke to some of the other campers who were repeat visitors. Greeted by 2 wonderful dogs (Doris and Angus) clearly accustomed to farm life! Chickens roaming and beautiful field of cows/calves to look out on. Excellent TV reception once aerial was facing the right way! And multiple walks into Dalby Forest. Will be returning!
