Μου άρεσε Such a lovely little site thats dog friendly & has a bar/restaurant & a spa.
Everything was well laid out and spacious, the facilities were lovely & clean and tge wardens very welcoming.
Great place to stay for exploring North Wales.

Μου άρεσε We love the setting of Rhuallt Country Park and how central it is to visit many places in Wales. The Restaurant and Spa are also an added bonus too.

Δεν μου άρεσε Being put on a pitch next to a stinking septic tank even though other pitches were available which we were eventually move to not being told about where to find the facilities. No shop nearby

Από τον διαχειριστή: Hi David. Thank you for your review. We're sorry that we didn't live up to your expectations. The septic tank had been emptied that week, whether that caused the smell. However you we're on another pitch within half an hour of arriving on site. We're sorry that all the facilities weren't explained to you on arrival, no excuse but Kay was busy trying to find you another pitch. Both myself and Kay try to ensure that we are always a visible presence on the park to help if anyone has any questions or difficulties. We currently don't have a shop onsite as we feel the turnover of stock will be too low to make this financially viable. However this is a situation that is under constant review. Μου άρεσε Fantastic site..extremely clean..great facilities..terrific bar and restaurant.A special mention to Simon the park warden,what a lovely,friendly guy and a non workaholic.I wish he worked for me!Simon is a real asset to the park.All in all what’s not to like .We will definitely be returning.

Μου άρεσε Very clean, quiet, peaceful.
Good for cycling. A bit lumpy to St Asaph, but then flat to the coast, and all off road cycle tracks.
Good for walkers.
Certainly I would recommend.

Δεν μου άρεσε Most motorhomes have the water fill on the right hand side near the electric hook up. The water tap position was on the opposite side from the electric so made water hookup difficult.
The water drainage was unusable for motorhome users.
Showers were good - if you chose the right one. Temperature could not be altered and one in particular was unusable as it was far too hot.
Shower cut off switches were hit and miss. One lasted maybe 30 seconds. At least two were a few seconds only.
A grey water drop could be a very good addition as it was extremely diffucult to drain waste water and unused fresh water.
Water and waste look ideal for a caravan but not so for a motorhome.
These comments are not meant as bad criticisms of the site, but as constructive comments for site improvements.
We are not put off and will certainly book again.

We are aware of the problem with the position of the water and waste, the pitches were original designed for 5th wheel units. We always have extension pipes available for both water and grey waste. A motorhome waste dump is being planned but positioning is proving difficult. I have been made aware of the very quick shower which has now been fixed. We try to keep the temperature of the showers to suit all our guests, we get both "too hot" and "too cold" comments. We look forward to welcoming you back in the future. Μου άρεσε Had a lovely stay. Site has very large pitches with really nice toilet and showers. Some nice scenery can be seen from the site as well. Couldn't pick up much of a TV signal but wouldn't stop us staying here again. We ate and had drinks at the nearby White House restaurant/spa which was also really nice. Easy to reach many of the coastal places along the coastline as site is just off the A55. We could hear the traffic as a distant humm but didn't bother us. Lovely and quiet during our stay which was a bonus.

Δεν μου άρεσε Nothing really within walking distance ie. shop and no public transport within reasonable walking distance so definitely have to drive everywhere.

Μου άρεσε Great large pitch nice and quite day and evening, the shower block was always clean and large shower cubicle. lovely food in the pub next-door to the site . Central for the A55 both ways to get out and about with ease.

Δεν μου άρεσε Drove passed the site not seeing any sign that its through the pub car park, first time to site and satnav saying it was on my left ?
Will no for next time.
