Μου άρεσε: Lovely site, great having the river by our pitch for son to use his SUP. Will definitely stay again

Μου άρεσε: Absolutely beautiful setting and surrounding. The waterside pitches where we stayed had access down the the river with little docks, so we could sit in the sun, drinking beer and get in the water if we wanted. Lovely countryside walks easily accessible from the site too. Toilet block was clean and showers had great pressure and hot water. The cafe onsite served delicious sandwiches and toasties with ice creams and drinks. All the staff I dealt with were nice, helpful and knowledgeable about the surrounding area.

Δεν μου άρεσε: There's wasn't much to do for the kids. Although the river access and walks were good, a small park would be ideal for younger children.

Μου άρεσε: A nice site in a great location for walking and enjoying the river. The little cafe was a very welcome addition to the site - what about some visiting food vans too?

Δεν μου άρεσε: We would have liked cleaner, tidier washroom facilities, and more of them. There’s one block, and it is quite a trek from parts of the site to use them, especially in the middle of the night! Perhaps provide a mop to clean up after showering too, the floors all got pretty grubby.

In reply to your comment concerning food vans visiting - I'm afraid that unless we could guarantee a given number would use them it is not viable for them to visit us. I have passed on your concerns regarding the facilities on site onto our Park Manager to review, we will certainly take them on board. We look forward to welcoming you back in the future. Μου άρεσε: Clean and pretty site, Riverside Cafe Availability of toilets / showers / washing up always good Level pitches, good grass coverage Electric easy

Δεν μου άρεσε: Pitches quite close together given size of field available. Showers were a bit hit and miss (sometimes dirty, sometimes cold) - missed a mop to clean up

Μου άρεσε: The near by River, lots of nature walks and ducklings. Great shower and kitchen facilties.

Μου άρεσε: Freedom and open spaces to put up your tent where you like !

Μου άρεσε: The open space around the site. Large pitches.

Δεν μου άρεσε: The floors in the showers/toilets were always filthy, which made showering difficult without getting muddy feet or clothes. Although the pitches were large, there could have been a better physical devide. The motor that parked next to us was only around 1 metre away with windows looking into ours!

We do ask that campers pitch on the left of the pitch - regrettably is they do not adhere to this does reduce the space between pitches. Μου άρεσε: Beautiful location in nature. There are attractive villages with a historical background nearby. Proximity to Stamford.

Δεν μου άρεσε: The toilets, shower rooms and washing up rooms were not clean and therefore unpleasant to use.
