Dieser Campingplatz wird für seine schöne, ruhige Lage am See gelobt, mit friedlichen Spaziergängen und Aussichten. Besucher loben die sauberen Einrichtungen (Duschen/WCs, Küchenbereiche) mit viel Warmwasser. Personal ist oft freundlich und hilfsbereit. Einfacher Aufbau und viel Platz zwischen den Stellplätzen werden geschätzt. Einige Gäste bemängelten wenige WCs bei hohem Andrang und den Zustand der Überlaufstellplätze. Die eingeschränkten Öffnungszeiten und Preise des Cafés wurden ebenfalls erwähnt.

Positiv Great location and perfect for those adventuring onto the water. The showers, toilets and wash up area was clean and did the job. The site wasn't massively busy and everybody respected the rules and quiet times.
Negativ It was not as easy to find as I thought, it took a bit of detective work but then again i was probably more concerned with arriving in one piece in my old land Rover than following directions.

Positiv Very family friendly. Relaxed atmosphere. The lake is beautiful and children loved the play area. There is plenty of green space to play in. All pitches are within easy reach of the drinking water and pot wash stations.
Negativ There are only 3 unisex toilets, which were cleaned morning and afternoon, but became smelly quickly and ran out of paper overnight, due to the high numbers using them. We felt the self-launch fee was a lot and were surprised there wasn’t an offer for those who had paid for camping.

Negativ Site were not forthcoming with options for bad weather. They said weather was fine on the Friday but it then was heavy rain and thunder and lightning on the first night which really frightened us. No check in the next day to see how we were

Your feedback is much appreciated, we work hard to make sure our campers have a good time, enjoy their stay and are safe. We often check in with our campers during their stay and I apologies for not checking in after the stormy weather. I have followed up with the staff in that day and our centre manager to ensure it doesn't happen in the future.
If you visit again and you need a member of staff we are at the campsite 9am - 10am and 3pm - 4pm and on site at the main reception 9am - 5pm. Our out of hours contact details can be found in the Campsite Hub room and washing up area.
We look forward to welcoming you back, hopefully when it's lovely and sunny!

Positiv The lady who worked there was so helpful, even offering to help me set up my awning and lending me a mallet. The showers, toilets and washing up facilities were clean and the water was nice and hot.
The walks were really peaceful and beautiful. The hot chocolate in the cafe was lovely.
The free WiFi connected automatically on my devices.

Positiv The location of this site was beautiful. The shower block and kitchen areas were immaculate. A 5 minute walk to the activity centre where you can hire paddle boards for £15 per hour. Lovely ice cream from the cafe too!

Plenty of space around each vehicle when parked up on the pitch.
Toilets and showers were very clean.
We have stay there twice and definitely will stay again in our camper van (Bella) dogs are welcome.
