Syntes om: Second visit. Nice clean camp - ideally located to Bala town and the newly created walk around part of the lake to the cafe. Nice walk either way especially in the sun. No TV reception which is a bit of a let down but possibly where our pitch was but no issue. WIFI is available at a cost but really these days it should be provided free but no real issue.

Syntes ikke om: No issues with the camp but feel that the town (Bala) has been ruined, especially at the weekends when there's nice weather, by the sheer amount of motorbikes running through the town, very noisy and at times some travelling at speed. Sitting outside the pub having a drink in the sun has been spoiled i feel.

We have 25 seasonal pitches here all with good tv reception. The Wifi is very much hit and miss and therefore we do not charge for this anymore ( we will take it down from our website that we charge! ) Bala has become a very popular place for visitors which is very good for the town as it keeps us going over the Winter but like you say can spoil the tranquility that some people seek when away on a break but hopefully we will see you again. Syntes om: Firstly the reception staff were so genuinely kind and accommodating.. above and beyond. The site was beautifully situated and immaculate. The shower block and toilets equally so. Your pitch was kitted out with your own water tap and electric hook up making you feel that your area was really your own. Nice sized pitch too. The surrounding area was absolutely stunning..it had a small scenic railway ride on steam train which travelled up one side of the lake and back. The lake was lovely with the activities centre 20 mins walk away. Even had a dip in the shallow part. Lots of pubs nearby , again 20 mins walk. Everything seemed to be on a circuit which led back to the campsite. One of the , in fact probably the best site we have been on to date.Most definitely will be back.

Syntes om: The staff were fantastic, so friendly and helpful. The facilities were spotless. The site was brilliant, lovely and chilled and right by the lake. We had the best few days and hope to be returning again soon.

Syntes om: Such a clean, quiet campsite. The bathrooms are immaculate. The lady in the shop was very pleasant. We had an amazing time. Plenty of fire pits to use and only a short walk to the lake.

Syntes ikke om: When I come with the kids, there isn’t a dedicated place they can play as no ball games allowed on site.

Syntes om: The campsite was absolutely spotless and the new shower / toilet block was first class. The views were picture postcard material and were perfect to sit and admire. The staff were so friendly and took time to chat to you, certainly will revisit.
