What customers say
This is a clean, well-maintained campsite with friendly staff and excellent facilities, including vending machines for coffee and milkshakes. Located by a beautiful river, it offers scenic walks and is ideally situated for water sports and exploring Bala. While most visitors had a positive experience, some noted midges, occasional issues with vending machines, and a desire for more toilet/shower facilities during peak times. The site offers good value and many would return.

Friendly staff
Disliked My only gripe was the shower but it’s really just a little moan; the water was BOILING hot with no temp change knob, there was nowhere in the cubicle to put your clothes so you need to put your stuff outside on a bench where things could be taken and have to be naked outside the shower cubicle to grab your stuff. It was a good shower though really, just a little change in the design would have made it go from a 6/10 to a 10/10
It was on the expensive side too I feel
£6 to pitch a gazebo, which was our most expensive site to do so, on quite uneven ground which sloped down quite a lot making the kitchen setup completely tilt
£4 for a dog, double what we paid for elsewhere, and some places are free

Peaceful
Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Peaceful, the guy on reception is friendly and did sort the WiFi eventually.
Disliked Soon after we arrived the reception closed, the WiFi didn’t work and we had no phone signal.
After speaking with other people, they said it happened every night.
After I’d spoken to reception once it opened the next day they reset the WiFi and it worked.
Toilets need cleaning regularly
