Really great site would definitely recommend
Electric grass tent pitch (two person)
Liked Such a beautifully kept holiday park. A great location, within easy reach of the black mountains and the pretty town of Hay on the Wye. The facilities were immaculate and really good. Small touches like the washing facilities having equipment to wash with is so nice. The camping pitches were so spacious and very well maintained. Would definitely recommend to anyone 🙂

Wonderful quiet, friendly site
Electric grass pitch (family)
Liked We really enjoyed our stay at Borders! We stayed at an electric pitch in a tent and really appreciated having our own tap and electric hookup. The facilities were well-maintained and it was impressive to even have washing up liquid and draining racks for all to use.
Staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Disliked We did struggle to workout the edges of our pitch, which didn't matter much in the end because we had no neighbours for our whole stay. But having some sort of markers might help.

Electric grass pitch (family)
Liked Lovely tidy site.
Facilities were good.
Facilities close by to electric hook up
Very close access to Hay on Wye.
Good WiFi & phone network.
Easy friendly communication but staff not imposing whilst we were there.
Several Red kite sightings which was wonderful to see.
Disliked Shower temperature set too hot, it would be better to be set lower.
Music in the bathrooms 24hours, it was such a peaceful site that the continual music stream felt a bit out of keeping with the peace

Non-electric grass tent pitch (sloping, wild)
Liked A lovely campsite for a great price. We booked the wild camping option which had a great view and soft grass. Very clean showers and toilets and good wifi. Nice and close to Hay on Wye too.
Disliked The toilets/showers had a radio station playing very loudly constantly which was a bit off putting.

Great value for money and excellent facilities!
Non-electric grass tent pitch (sloping, wild)
Liked This is an absolutely fantastic campsite. The toilets and showers were amazing - clean and well laid out. Each toilet cubicle had a shower (which was nice and hot), sink and mirror. Bonus points for having a step for little ones to wash hands and a child friendly toilet in BOTH ladies and gents. We stayed in the wild camping field and it was so lovely and peaceful. Some reviews mentioned the slope being a problem but we found it to be only a slight slope and perfectly manageable. Also, the little park for kids was a great bonus. Such good value for money!
Disliked A little shop would have been great but we knew there wasn’t one.
