Liked: Lovely, quiet, idyllic spot on the river. Nice hot water in the shower block.
Disliked: Having washing facilities for dishes would have made this place perfect.

Liked: Lovely location by the river, great to have a little play area. Kids (6 & 8) made new friends instantly and were off playing. Close to Pistyll Rhaeader waterfall, we set off early from the campsite and had the place to ourselves :)
Disliked: Couldn’t find any washing up facilities which was annoying!

Liked: Small site, beautiful spot with a pretty river and the sound of cows and sheep in neighbouring fields. Good sized and clean bathrooms, although the electric shower was a little fiddly 🙃
Disliked: Although it does state this on the site's page, I'm a little surprised there's no washing up facility. 🤷♂️

Liked: Beautiful location by a stream, unable to try any of the local walks😢
Disliked: A pity it rained all day, not the site’s fault.

Liked: Right next to the river with a lovely view of the hills, very low light pollution so when clear, you can see the stars and very very quiet. Toilet block VERY clean, great location for what we wished to do. Owners were very lovely. Well maintained main areas. Bin area clean and smell free.
Disliked: Only one shower but because this is a smaller site, with mainly caravans in the same area the shower was not busy. It was a little on the expensive side for it not to have a washing up station but I would stay here again. The entrance / exit right next to the road needs a touch up.

Liked: We arrived just after 5pm and was welcomed with a friendly face who showed us to our pitch. The pitch was right next to a slow flowing river which was perfect. The local pub had good food and was very friendly. Will be going back soon

Liked: From the moment I arrived on the pitch I started to relax, the sound of the river and the scenery helped a lot , the site is friendly and the owners are very helpful , the pitches although we have a had a lot of rain were well drained and dry the facilities are clean and tidy but a little dated , all together a relaxing long bank holiday weekend .
Disliked: The toilet block really could do with updating and more showers available
