What customers say
This is a well-maintained and clean site with friendly, helpful staff and excellent facilities, including a popular restaurant and bar. Its location is convenient for motorway access and exploring the area. While the clay pigeon shooting can be noisy during the day, it stops in the evening. Some guests noted the distance to toilet blocks from touring pitches and minor maintenance issues in older facilities.

Level pitches, staff friendly
Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Good sized pitches, good range/availability in the shop
Disliked Shower/toilet blocks too far away from touring pitches. Showers dated and too hot with no option to cool water down

Great value stopover, but dont bother with the Restuarant.
Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Great value for a single night stop over.
Disliked The resturant. We have used Westlands around Easter time four years in a row now, for a single night stop over. Each time we stay the resturant gets worse. Sullen, disinterested staff with a shocking attitude and some very average food that looked shop bought. We will use the site again, but won't be wasting good money in the resturant anymore.

Liked We were just looking for a place to go off grid for a night, this was perfect, we were the only people there, the owner has a spot set up fir fir pit, and he had chopped wood and left it out for us to use
Disliked Absolutely nothing , it was all good, just need to mark the entrance , as we missed it first time.

Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Lovely fully serviced pitch . Quiet site with peacocks freely walking about. Lovely, clean shower block. Bar and restaurant serve good food and very dog friendly. We were aware it was a clay pigeon shooting site so not for nervous dogs, ours didn’t bother . Ideally located for visiting the local areas.
Disliked Small pitches, wouldn’t beable to fit our awning on and park next to the caravan but we didn’t bother with the awning. Parking is very close if you chose to put an awning up instead

A nice site was did not meet my expectations due to fishing issues.
Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Well kept site, friendly staff @ reception. Handy just minutes off motorway.
Disliked Advertised both catch and release and keep a couple. Got there only to be told only catch and release. My son and i came down specifically to fish and to be told this was very disappointing. Then when we went to book was told the ponds had not been stocked for a while. Why stock a pond that you put the fish back.
