Liked: Quietness of the 2 fields - we did go out of peak season however we enjoyed a lack of other campers which can sometimes feel over crowded. We arrived late and in the dark yet the owner called and said he'd come and meet us there to show us the facilities. He was very friendly and gave up his time even on a last minute booking.
Disliked: The showers and toilets weren't very clean - lots of big spiders and webs.

From the manager: Harrison O - Apologies if you felt the toilets were not to your expectations . They are cleaned daily often more at peak season. The site was almost closed for the season and the spiders do like the warmth :-) Manager

Liked: We just got back from a lovely stay at Chalk Meadow. So peaceful, lovely views, immaculately clean toilets and shower. Could not have asked for a better host, Jim went above and beyond for us, can't wait to go back! Absolutely recommend, felt so welcome.

Liked: Owner was there to welcome me & explain facilities. Stayed a chilly April night. Lovely hot shower was a wonderful welcome in the morning!
Disliked: Did feel slightly vulnerable at night as only 1 other camper on site that night but it was the 1st night of the season.

Liked: We went on a rainy weekend and were the only ones in the field, and Jim took such good care of us. He came and checked on us multiple times and lent us a fire and gave us a bag of fire wood and fire starters, as well as giving us a weekend together next summer, when the weather is better.
The toilets and showers were nice for a campsite and the field was nice with a decent view and near the village. Durdle Door was only a short drive and we had a great day there :)

Liked: Everything. The site is simple but exactly what you need. Jim is fantastic, always bubbly, polite and full of knowledge and recommendations. Checks in to make sure everything is okay. Simple shower and toilet facilities, both provided with good quality shower gel and toilet rolls. Plenty of space on site and in facilities. Beautiful surroundings, peaceful and quiet. Fantastic location also. If you want to enjoy the outdoors with no wifi, just nature, this is the perfect place.

Liked: Quiet spot, easy to find and close to Weymouth, Dorchester and places like Durdle door. Bathrooms were clean and easy to access.
The host was so friendly and was always available to ask questions. He was very social and accommodating. We have 5 young children under 10 and found this a really inviting location. We have already gone back for another weekend and will again in the future.

Polecam ten kamping.
Na pewno wrócimy.

Liked: Great campsite, good location to explore Dorset and facilities were good with lovely hot showers.
We stayed here for a week, some nights we had it to ourselves and even on the bank holiday weekend it didn’t feel too busy. Plenty of space for the kids to play and easy to walk to the shop/pub in the village.
Jim went above and beyond to make us feel at home and make sure we enjoyed our stay. The kids looked forward to chatting to him when he came to the campsite morning and evening. He offered us recommendations and helpful tips about where to visit and really made the stay for us.
Would definitely stay here again. 😊

Liked: After a long drive from Kent non stop road works and dropping the family at Southampton docks, we were happy to find smiling faces at Chalk Meadows campsite - Jim was there with helpers to show us where to park up - it was all organised and easy. I booked as it was a good location for us heading to Dartmoor and proper toilets! The washroom block was fine, a walk across the field with a separate ladies and gents block.
We were only booked for 1 night but it was great for us. Thank You
